@teegramsam I have been a T Rex fan since 72' . Bolan would would dug the way hide upped the ante on the Rock sound hide gave it. I do not think Marc Bolan ever understood why his fan base shrunk. When he released this song, I though he was peaking. It is great to hear it from any good guitarist, and hide, was one of the best!

I am VERY familiar with T-Rex, who of course is a legend in my eyes. However, this is a lot of fun and to say they are "Linkin Park-esque" guitar sounds are a little off base. Sure, they are dark, a little heavy, and not "classic" sounding, but they do sound good for the style they are doing this in. If they did it the way T-Rex did, it would be boring and probably a bad imitation. This is fresh approach to a classic song. And who cares how he pronounces the words... lighten up...

Wow, I like Hide's take on the song. I still prefer the classic version, but this one still contains the spirit and essence of the original while sounding different at the same time. After seeing X make my ears bleed with their cover, I was expecting this to do the same as I seeing how there was an asian man's face on the thumbnail that would just lead to the same pain before I clicked it. But now that I see it it's actually pretty good. :)
