yep the lick is exactly from Who's Cryin Now, except in Signs Of Life it fits perfect and is absolutely the best neal schon solo ever written.

along with song "THE THEME" from his solo work called Late Nite.

I've seen him in concert and I was slightly disappointed. Unlike Steve Perry Arnel doesn't sound just like the album. Steve always delivered.

I really liked Steve Augeri. Not only did he do justice to Perry's songs but he also brought songwriting dynamics into the mix as well. He wasn't just a sound alike, the band seemed to actually musically grow. I liked the harder edge that many of the songs took on. While I mean no disrespect to Arnel, it bothers me that the band seemas to just forget everything that Steve A. did. None of the Augeri material is performed anymore, and it seems like they're just rehashing the Perry era.

Just be GLAD that AP DOESN'T sing any of these! Look at the blasphemous and disastrous results that came from the studio re-recording of the Perry-era Classic Journey Greatest Hits! AP should just leave the older Journey material alone and sing only new JourneyLite songs. :)

Couldn't agree more, my friend! This is the truth, but if you dare say it, you start being attacked for being "racist" against Arnel. I just don't like the way Arnel sings Journey's stuff. I don't think he's a bad singer, but he's just not Journey material, IMHO...

He sounds exactly like Steve Perry, but he has a single flaw, although he does sing with emotion, he just doesn't have that tear-jerking emotion of Perry... otherwise, he's awesome.
