Why wasn't it clean? Nothing against Naslund(and congrats on tonight for him), but he is one of those players who can't take a hit. There was nothing wrong with the hit except the fact Naslund tried to avoid it(which is what those type of scared players do when they are about to get hit)
Sorry I was completely off topic. I was watching the video of the hit on Moore at the same time and commented on the wrong one. If you want my opinion, it was a pretty clean hit. Jackman was facing Bertuzzi for the hit and he didn't do anything after that. Just protecting his star player. That's the enforcers' job or have I been following a completely different NHL for the past near decade?
if your dum enough to cover your neck when bertuzzi around then he would smash the side of your head in dum ass he didn't punch moores neck punched the side of his head...amazing hit on jackman
im sure it didnt help that he got knocked out cold, and then had his head rammed into the ice teeth first by Todd's then 245# frame. And then the pile on top of him for or so people for 10 seconds was probably no bueno either.
Strange how many people still hate Bertuzzi. Wake up NHL fans, or wanna be's, its hockey. He put a questionable dirty hit on Naslund, went out of his way to put the shoulder in the face. Then Bertuzzi goes after Moore, and punches him only after Moore refuses "to go". He forgot to protect himself. Its no different than taking a career ending cuncussion hit because of having your head down. Thats fact.
@hockeyfanredwings Wow, you are beyond stupid. my point is that Bertuzzi's hit on Moore WASN'T CLEAN WHILE YOU SAID THAT IT WAS CLEAN. So i pointed out why it wasn't clean and you start talking about the Moore hit on Naslund.
Shut your mouth because you're just embarrassing yourself
@canuckz naslund was falling, if he had stayed on his skates the hit wouldve been clean, not really steve moore's fault when, still deserving of a penalty, but not a broken neck and an ended career, not to mention abuse from the league in hiding the incident like a bunch of cowards
If Naslund was already falling, why would Moore attempt a hit?
The broken neck probably came from the hundreds of his own teammates piling on top of him. I would not at all attribute that to Bertuzzi. Idk how you figure they hid it when Bertuzzi did at least one public apology - even though the only thing he did was punch the puss from behind. Imo what McSorley did was more wrong.
You know guys, this is the way hockey was meant to be played. The way Big Bert plays. Strength, skill, and endurance. He hit Macinnis the exact same way and took him out of playoffs too. Jackman would have done the same thing as well, and good on him too. Clean fun hockey.
I Agree with u hockeystud stupid ave faggs... beautiful hit. the most entertaining part od hockey is the fights and hits if u take them out it just looks like 10 fairys skating around
This video never gets old.

@kensta9 hits to the head are dirty regardless of them being legal at the time.

@kensta9 Naslund didn't have the puck. You can't hit a guy who doesn't have the puck. Naslund was reaching for it but didn't make contact for it.

That said, he didn't deserve what Bertuzzi did to him.

@MacroFuzzXD Well, you can't say he's defending Naslund if he wasn't in present danger. I think 'vengeance' is a more appropriate word.

@MacroFuzzXD No worries.
The Jackman hit was good, no complaints here. I was commenting on the Moore hit too, although I'm not sure why I did it on this video.
I would say the enforcer's job is basically intimidation and fighting is the furthest it should go. This wasn't a fight, it was an assault.

Hockeyfanredwings Moores head was up Jack ass bertuzzi just suckered him from BEHIND. Maybe you want to open you friken eyes and look for that

@hockeyfanredwings punching someone in the head is roughing and unsportmanlike. Tell me how those 2 penalties are clean? Now who's the "dumbass"?

why didnt Moore keep his head up?
hockeyfanredwings 1 year ago
@canuckz So that merits grabbing a guy from behind and punching him in the back of the head, then driving him to the ice and breaking his neck?
