This is definitely NOT Claire Danes. This girl is no where near as articulate or intelligent as Claire Danes. She sounds like just some obsessive Claire Danes fan.

Claire danes is so pretty and her voice is nice. i remember her in MSCL and the voice matches this phone conversation. u should of tried to hook up, man lol. im pretty sure that was her. the info she was talking about was pretty true. I 100% believe that was her.

If you watch her 1996 Letterman interview then its completely convincing.

Honestly, I believe its her. Sucks that she denied it later, but I cold understand if she forgot and was in a hurry,

but there's little doubt that she didn't remember it later that day.

Yeah, I highly doubt it... it was probably some girl obsessed with Claire... it's not hard to find those. No e-mail address or phone # means no way to find out that she was an imposter... I find it pretty stupid to consider it being her... but it would be pretty cool if you actually met her on the plane... if you're not making it up. No offense, but you could easily be a liar.

I highly doubt it... the voice sounds a little forced, fake. It just doesn't sound quite right. I seriously think this is a fake. Highly Highly Highly doubt it.

It does kind of sound like her but voices do sound a little different on an answering machine. Distorted I guess. I guess you'll never really know the truth. It cool though that you may have really been talking to her. It is strange that she would talk to a total stranger on the phone. Maybe she was bored or lonely.

Even in 1997, the only necessary tool to know all this stuff would have been access to the internet, which this person clearly had. Go look for yourself at any of her fansites. She was notoriously chatty about her experiences from the drinking to the boyfriends, her friends, so on and so forth. My guess is that this person was a somewhat misguided My So-Called Life fan - the vocal inflections and so on are very Claire at times, but it's not her.

@Eltroim The clairedanes d o t c o m fansite was up since before 97 and all her interviews were posted there. As a matter of fact you can still watch them today as they were posted 13 years ago (go there and watch the low resolution vids to check for yourself). So all she says here was said to Jay Leno, Latterman, etc. Internet was not some strange concept back in 97. Like I said on vid 2, I lived that era and I was no geek, we watched videos online at ABC, CBS, no need for youtube.
