Asus G73 Playing World of Warcraft Full settings in Dalaran

@TheFunnylime i have a 12gb ram asus g73 and its battery lasts about 2 hours at most while unplugged, playin wow, on full settings. other games like black ops on max graphics the battery lasts about 45 minutes - an hour.

oh guys, you don't know what you are talking about... You just can't see through this video how good the graphics are... M17x and G73 takes this old game on the multiple levels up... It feels like you are playing another game with its graphics improvement through these lap-tops

@Darcin8or you sir are an idiot... its not the size of the screen that matters it is the resolution that matters... you could have a 32 inch tv hooked up to this through hdmi, and as long as it is at 1080p it will still run the same...

btw, i have the best buy version of this laptop, and i love it :-)

turn shadow quality to fair( or anything below ultra because on ultra shadows are being wasted, such as you'll see a mountain overshadowing play shadows that are being rendered anyway. WoW shadows rape.) and you'll rock a good 60 fps in dalaran

@369Shahin Wow cataclysm isnt old, its brand new and lots of people had to upgrade their computers to play, crysis demos for this computer are out, go look. I dont care for crysis but ive already heard this can play it on high no problem. This computer can play any game basically.

@sikidiki22 of course this is the best wow had at the time anways, dalaran was known as a place for people to get low fps, even nicer computers so it was a good test.

@sikidiki22 It's WoW though.... their engine is outdated compared to Aion and other MMORPGs / games that are out right now. They even admitted that their engine is getting outdated (they might boost it up a notch in a later huge patch / expansion). My point is- if you had a more demanding game to try it on your computer, then you should and show the audience that it can handle THAT demanding game as well.... WoW is not demanding ..at..all.

@369Shahin Yea i understand what you're saying. Now if i had some money to order these demanding games i would. I had aion on this before i quit the game. Handled it just fine. But back then i didnt have fraps. So maybe later i can post some more graphics intense games for you guys :)

@sikidiki22 my pentium 4 with intergrated graphics could play it at 30 fps....and if you bought this just for wow HUGE WASTE OF MONEY(most of ur vids are wow....). you can play that game maxed on a core2 duo with 9800.

Dude check out Crysis on the G73! Only been able to run on all high (not very high) and it gets about 36fps! This machine is beast!

Im so confused... I live in canada and we dont have the G73 at say best buy or futureshop yet. but i went to a local computer store who carry asus and i told them i wanted to get a G73 for about $1500 and they thought i was crazy... said its at least $2100 or more. I think they're trying to scam me or sumthin.

@PowerThroughStrength well this one can max out cata full ultra settings no problem i payed 1300 6 months ago and im sure its gone down, you could probably look to spend at least $1000 if you wanna buy a nice gaming machine. you could build it for 800-1000 and it could run wow cata full settings no problem

I have played wow no problem with my Asus G2 laptop with a Gforce 8600 also I regularly have my laptop running for a week at a time without turning it off and it still works fine. Its nearly three years old

Dude you should look at a Nvidia GTX 460 in dalaran, I'll have to put a video up soon it get play ultra settings and get around 45-70 fps in any 25 man fight and 38-60 in dalaran. Dalaran is more the computer processor, not the graphics so....

@639426 I agree with minh15. If you get a fu 1080p screen, and you run a higher resolution on the video card, then it will have a little less performance and FPS. Not sure how much but it'll probably bet about 1 - 5 frames.

@BloodShott22 it will run wow more than fine, its probably one of the best gaming laptops out right now, You can get better but it cost more money. This will run any game perfect. :)

Stupid ? but i just got a really good computer today ( well good for me ) not a top of the line gaming computer but i5 and the whole shabang with a 23inch led monitor ( biggest one i ever owned) hd blah blah blah. I haven't played wow in like 6 months and my old computer i played it on wasnt good. Now after seeing these videos in 1080p would i be able to play WOW with the same clarity as i see in these videos? I am not that smart when it comes to comps. Any answers will be appreciated.

@sikidiki22 Hai thanks for the reply. After watching your vids (very nice dps by the way) and others and seeing new mounts and gear i am really looking foward to getting back into WOW. In regards to my machine the only thing it lacks is a good graphics card. It comes with NVIDIA GeForce GT220 graphics with up to 1024MB dedicated graphics memory. But i am not a huge computer gamer( xbox guy)but i think this will be sufficient enough to run WOW on max settings. Your comp is beast!!

Yea ill try to get a better video for you guys, btw in 25 man raid. You dont even have to overclock it and i was getting an easy 40 frames a second with everyone casting spells, It really changes the game for you. Let me try to get a video up
