I think it would be better if there was a place to put it under the shoulder to keep it steady, a handle near the front to aim, and a handle underneath the contraption to bring the string back. My Idea seem a little more effective than using a handle that goes over the the crossbow, because there is little accuracy than a decent direction. I wish I could prove it, but I cannot. That is still impressive.
I saw one of those in a history book once covering the boxer rebellion in china.
