I have this game I have played the Gothic 1,2 and 3 on PC and this game has nothing to do with gothic. It's too easy (I play in gothic dificulty and it's still easy) too linear and does not bring you the same sensation of the previus games.

Well indeed it seems to really be Gothic 4. Even though we can't see any GUI, it doesn't seems to be Oblivion nor Gothic 3, neither any recent RPG like The Witcher.

Damn the newer gothic is the shittier it gets. G1 in my opinion is the best story wise. G2 you are thrown in to a medieval crap thing which is to lifelike, then comes G3 where you go to fairyland on a boat... This again does not keep the style of the original Gothic. And now something like G2 and Oblivion put together...

True GOTHIC fans love the series. ITs a game that plays like most people want a RPG to be like. The story is good and it continues with each new game. Gothic 3 was not as good as it should have been I agree. Gothic 2 is so far the best by far. Hopefully the graphics on the Trinigy engine will be as impressive as they are saying. I only hope that now that SPELLBOUND is handiling the game instead of PB,it will remain true to its great line of gaming.
