lol i believe it.. i got cam and headers and im pushing 420 on a safe tune. the only bad thing about this gto is that it is slow as shit hahaha. cam is way too big for this heavy car! bad choice..

This cam is no longer in the car.  Added AFR heads, meziere EWP, and swapped to a procharger friendly cam for the future.

Sounds to me like you should send your car to GM for further testing.  Surely your one in a million powertrain freak would interest them.

Haha, dyno sheet will be coming your way next week or so, just got a retune. I forgot to mention the ported FAST 90 and the minor porting on my 243 heads. Got an email I can send it to? Didn't need to be a douche bag about it, but I'll back up what I said regardless.

Huh..... Thats super high, Stock 06's put down 340-350whp.... How did a CAI give you 30-40whp..... You had a very generous dyno.... Thats even higher than a 05-06 with LT's and tuned GTO....

actually stock 05/06's make around 360-370 hp stock, the 04's made 330 or so stock. With a good tune, CAI, and muffler delete 384/364 is very believeable

05/06's didnt make that much power bud.. I owned a 05 that got hit and wrecked and I have a modded 04 so I know what kind of power these cars put out... Ive also done many cam swaps for the local GTO crown in IL, WI, IN... and Ive seen all kinds of dyno number and different mod variations so I know whats up when it comes to these cars

Guess I've seen some factory freaks then, I live about 20 minutes away from Texas Speed and I have seen many stock 05/06 with M6 hit around 370 whp with just a CAI and tune.

@sumida86 Ya some people beleive anything... Dyno numbers are just Dyno numbers which should be used as a mod tuing tool nothing more... Gotta love the bench racers who compare dyno numbers and fight over who should beat who not knowing like they should that no 2 dyno's are the same and DA, Temp, Humidity all affect your numbers that day...

@jpap967 No they didnt. If they did, the dyno wasnt calibrated. My full bolt on 04 M6 gto made 333RWHP and 350 RWTQ with a tune which is far more believable than half of the things your saying on this post.

I have a Q. I have a LS2 engine and trans out of 2006 gto. People keep tell me that the trans cant handle over 400hp. is this ture? if so what up grades did u do on your trans? or would it be better to get a new trans? Sorry about all the Q.

800 hp WTF:0? I call BS. The auto tranny that came with this care is GM's 4l60e. Some people smoke these trannys with just a tune. I had an 08 procharged Sierra that made 430 rwhp and smoked third gear after just 2000 miles.

The Manual 6 speed is a different story, I know they will handle quite a bit with just a clutch upgrade. I can't speak to this because I don't have any experience with them.

No way you got 445 rwhp. Probably on the order of high two hundreds or low three hundreds. Cams are only good for about a 30hp boost with no other mods. When you start adding head porting, exhaust, stroking, larger throttle body, etc, then maybe....maybe you might break into low four hundreds.

Obviously the car has headers, exhaust, ported Tb, Fast intake manifold and other bolt ons. LS2 6 speeds dyno 340+ stock, you are full of fail.

Its not a reverse split, its a 239 242. Cats are high flow Kooks

No PTV issues.

Low end torque is decent, but I might add heads to bump the compression to gain some more down low.

not bad, you should check out the videos i have of my buddies LS1 camaro putting down 502 rwhp and 445 rwtq, the numbers are staggering for the mods he has done! check it out, you should run this on the quarter mile, i bet it will run strong times with a good set of drag radials
