To lessen the chance of ingrown hairs/razor-burn/nicks and cuts ditch the canned foam and gel and use a puck or stick of old-school shave soap, or traditional shaving cream. Do it in the bath or shower with hot water, get a good lather, go slow and use minimal pressure. I use single-blade disposable razors and unless I'm careless I get no ingrowns, bumps or rashes.

As an Italian as well, I am also quiet hairy. I'm only 15 too... It sucks because I am so self conscious of it and I dont know anyone else as hairy as me. I've shaved my chest and stomach a lot (as they are really the only places that need it) but the issue is that it grows back so fast and is still bumpy. Good point about the STREAMLINE. I shave balls, they do fine. I dont have clippers, i use a pair of barbers scissors on the area around lower stomach.

Why don't you talk about waxing, I prefer waxing. I know people say its the same as shaving, but it's not. Lasts much longer and it kind of makes your hair thinner or not seem to grow as thick n long as shaving.
