  • that's a birdstrike waiting to happen....

  • gear must be down for full rudder control? wtf? negative thats why theres a rudder boost shutoff valve

  • ...little lower... Ah, got dinner for us!

  • HAHA is that what you call a close call that so way off!

  • dont belive it its an illusion

  • That plane was a good 500m from the boat

  • "almost hits a fishing boat"........................id think the birds are more likely to hit one another.

  • i flew on P-3s for 20 years as an acoustic AW and i am certain that this was a missed approach and probably a pilot training flight. P-3 has plenty of control when low/ slow to keep gear/ flaps up...Aloha!

  • the orion is probably getting photography of the ship to confirm that they are not doing any illegal fishing, gear and flaps down will slow them down to get a better view

  • thats a lot of birds

  • nice video but i don't understand why gears aren't up... down, they're a bit like spoilers... not nice in case of problems and you need to increase power or pull up suddenly

  • The gear must be down at this low speed for full rudder control

  • those orions have to put somthing in to the water to spot submarines but its just a test.

  • does it need to put its landing gear down ;)

  • mind the ship

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Imagine flying jsut a little higher than that (500 ft or so above ground) and in very high and gusty wind, with heavy rain, lightning and turbulence, and you've got a hurricane hunter P3.
