  • Toyota constructed an auto plant on part of the 1,500 acres of free land given to them in Georgetown, Kentucky. The auto plant was built by a Japanese steel company using Japanese steel. The U.S. government granted a “special trade zone” so that Toyota could import auto parts from Japan duty-free. Financing was handled by Mitsui Bank of Japan. Total federal and state grants and incentives exceeded $100 million. These subsidies, of course, were courtesy of your tax dollars.

  • I will have to agree with the bearded guy that numbers and statistics are needed.

Which is why the bearded guy has ZERO credibility and his arguement was that of a 3 year old. Typical liberal Democrat. These people are the bottom of the barrel, and the scum of the Earth.

Guys like the bearded liberal, should not be allow to vote until they pass a common sense test!

  • toyota is union in japan.kind of funny they got a bailout of 3 bill.dollars from japan.i think they should have been a higher fine.they got caugth lieing and hiding what they knew.plus they was made to do a recall

  • @AJstar9 TOYOTA was not lying. July 30th, Wall street journal. check TOYOTA recall journal. "Release of Toyota Documents Blocked, Ex-Official Says"

  • Toyota lies cover up,fraud pay offs, shame on the government ours and theirs. Fools would only support this company. Come out of the fog you can trust consumers reports like you can trust toyota for decades they have lied.

  • not to mention it is well known toyota avoids many recalls by dealing with their problems under "routine maintenace". or they take the cover up and denial route. didnt work this time, yet they still got their dumb loyal customers on their side. toyota is #1 in brainwashing. they dont spend money on quality, they put it in marketing. the idiot you replied to is anti american, yet he puts an american flag on his page to fool the feeble minded. that guy should be deported.

    great video.

  • Your video purposely avoided the main theme of PB's video. Instead you selected to expand upon a point PB already noted in his video. The theme of his video was that the U.S. government, who is Toyota's competitor by their ownership in GM and Chrysler, is investigating the recalls.

Also the unions are after Toyota for being non-union and it is well known in the USA that unions and Democrats are one of the same

Plus his use of "Demicrat" is purposeful to insult the Democrats.

  • At 1'05 I said that I understood what he was trying to say (that the Democratic administration is trying to favour partially state-owned automobile manufacturers whose workers are represented by the UAW).

At 1'44, I said that his argument might or not be true.

The point I was making was that he was misusing figures to bolster his argument, as the figures were not like-for-like, made no account of severity and dated back to the 50s.

  • What does that mean, "I said that his argument might or not be true?" That was stating an obvious as that can be said in reference to any argument based on opinions.

How did he misuse figures when he clearly explained what the figures represent and also provided the link for you and others to verify and investigate yourself?

  • There is something almost charming about him...

I don't think the US has more stupid people than other countries - they're just more noticeable.

  • Excellent. :) I hadn't caught this guy's video, but I've seen him before. REEEALY!!

  • Yeah, big facepalm. I couldn't believe that he actually admitted he'd just taken the number of recalls and not the severity of recalls or number of vehicles recalled.

  • This idiot doesn't represent the American people. Facepalm!!!!

  • Nobody thinks he does. When people talk of "stupid americans" they are talking just of the stupid americans. Even americans have to admit that they have a unique brand of stupidity. The majority of americans are awesome people.
