My friends and I went there in 2003 or so. Apparently shortly after that there was a fire.

Nothing scary happened.. but with all the stories.. when you actually see it.. out of nowhere while walking in the middle of the night.. It has this atmosphere about it that was truly frightening. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

Also, I don't believe in ghosts. I do believe in fear though ;-)

its a good story, but i grew up a quarter mile away from it and know the woman that owns it. the real reason no one lives there is that she wont let them because its a "sick house". there is a spring that runs beneath the house which caused mold spores which the residences inhaled and became fatally sick. the house itself is pretty cool and the interior is, or you could tell at some point that it was, beautiful.
