Honestly why does every single component need to be compared to COD? Yeah I love COD too, but there are other fantastic FPS games around too.
This is the umpteenth Crysis 2 multiplayer gameplay vid I've watched in which the commentator endlessly talks about COD features and comparisons.
I understand that COD games stand as a benchmark in the FPS genre due to their popularity and success, but seriously it comes across as ignorant to constantly compare to COD. I know others agree.

only reason why people don`t like a certain game. is because they suck at it that`s why i don`t play battlefield. but i love that game can`t wait for battlefield 3.

The size of the maps is the first thing i noticed... looks like there wont be vehicles? tanks, jeeps, choppers, airplane-type thing.. hah. also Maximum armour is not the default for the suit? Now it looks like speed is .. lame.
I'm really happy that they decided to make the cryEngine3 for consoles, because it gave the developers the challenge to make their graphics rendering as efficient as possible. When they reported back to the PC, it made it so that this new game has demands roughly equal to the original crysis, while still delivering amazingly modern graphics. The love child of this "problem" that all these silly peeps seem to be making, is that my humble laptop with my GeForce GT 230M is good enough to play it.
In my opinion this is good multiplayer, fast tempo like in CoD but in scifi environment... CryTEK made good job and this multiplayer looks better that Crysis Wars, I hated it, was boring and somekind money thing to buy upgrades.
BTW: If you are shooting full-auto, use maximum strength, it reduce recoil :D

Melee isn't one hit kill? YAY no panic knifing. I'd love to see more stuff than black ops now. I've played through the game myself and I play it about once every 2 weeks. I'm also pretty tired of watching black ops vids. New stuff is always appreciated. Maybe even some Halo vids.
the up on d-pad is your binoculars and i think you can mark players for you team for a bit but im not sure. in you press down on d-pad you get thermal (helps to find people in clock around you) and one right uses you under barrel our on the basic scar class changes fire rate, also kool thing to know if your clocked and you melee someone in the back you assassinate them (so far fav thing to do) that's all i know at the moment i hope i helped GoldGlove you da best.

Pressing up on dpad let's you "tag" people i believe, so when they are tagged(have to press trigger though) they are highlighted. Also try using the proximity alarm, very helpfull(perk/ability?). Fast double Y tap let's you select grenades, unfortunately you also switch to your pistol then.
A guy with armor takes 2 melee's, the first one you hit, second one missed, and third on never came, or atleast his melee was faster. You have to be pretty damn close to melee.
Everybody needs to stop this complaining about it releasing for consoles. it releases for consoles to appeal to a wider variety of gamers. That's all. Nothing personal against PC or anything. There is no gaming system better than the other. I'm sick of everybody saying that one is better than the other. It's all based on opinion. @AlienMagi I don't mean the actual controls of the PC. I've only really played CS:S and TF2 on the PC and their controls are pretty tight, but what I mean is all the shit you have to do to actually play the game. Usually you have to install it, download it, make an account for it (sometimes) and so on. With the consoles you just pop the disk in and your ready to play.

Everybody needs to stop this complaining about it releasing for consoles. it releases for consoles to appeal to a wider variety of gamers. That's all. Nothing personal against PC or anything. There is no gaming system better than the other. I'm sick of everybody saying that one is better than the other. It's all based on opinion. So stop whining, play on the system you want to play on, and keep your stupid comments on one system being better than the other to yourselves.

@EnergeticSupernova Dude, you just can't say that "There is no gaming system better than the other" if you are talking about the fun that each system gives you, hell yeah you're right. But no one is bitchin about it being multiplatform, we are bitchin because, pc is way more advanced in technical specs, pc has directx 11 and that enables tessellation, and if you try to see, where it is in the pc, it isn't, there is no inovation from crysis 1, there is not even directx 10...t's a console port...

@PMVAJ okay...i understand and i wasn't speaking statistically. if i were, it would probably be console. but i am talking about opinion. but to be honest, i really don't care about all of the stats. because in the end, it comes down to witch platform the individual likes more. that's all that matters. for example: i'm not gonna watch twilight instead of inception because it's statistically better and beat inception out of an oscar. i watch inception because i thought it was better. that's all.

the reason why i think this formerly pc exclusive game is coming to the consoles is because that is where the money is coming from because lets be honest, buying a console is a lot easier than building your own pc. beside the point, this game is looks awesome and im sure thats why most of us that think that should just play the game out of fun's sake. i play on the xbox but i appreciate the pc and ps3. most people play a game because its fun, not based on what they play it on.

The guns, suits and graphics look kinda similar but other than that I'd say it looks like a completely different game... still looks awesome though!

@AlienMagi I don't mean the actual controls of the PC. I've only really played CS:S and TF2 on the PC and their controls are pretty tight, but what I mean is all the shit you have to do to actually play the game. Usually you have to install it, download it, make an account for it (sometimes) and so on. With the consoles you just pop the disk in and your ready to play.

I still dunno why you would choose a console over pc, but whatever, have fun playing crysis 2... if you will.. when it's out.
