I have a feeling that you have misunderstand feminism like many other students of philosophy. Feminism is not simply understanding role of Woman or reach for equality, but rather its a philosophical lens in which many social philosophy can anchor to. Essentially, feminism is created to question the role of society abnormal. Feminism is a tool that we can understand the world such as LGBT community, the minorities etc. Also, women were barred against from entering the field of science.

Feminism didn't start in the late 1960's, the first wave of feminism arose near the end of the 19th century, from which the result was the right to vote for women and the right for women to study at the university! Also, the things you mention as arguments for science being a liberator to women are absolute nonsense, as they are not even about the rights of women.

I agree that (possible cancer risks aside)the pill probably has done more for the liberation of women than anything else in history.The fact is that women do not have to spend their years 13 to 45 either pregnant or in dire fear of pregnancy.Their bodies are healthier and children are cared for better and are wanted.

I am a 22y.o. single mother of a 3m.o daughter and I dont feel that modern day appliences have given me much freedom from domestic duties or has given me freedom to have a life. I am still stuck at home after a long day of work to take care of my apt and my daughter. Just because the pill was invented doesnt mean we go about having sex with everyone. There are still diseases and condoms can only prevent so many of them.. So that is to your "science".
You don't "feel" that the modern day appliances have helped? How much time is saved compared to washing clothes in a tub and washboard? You don't need to buy fresh food every day because you can refrigerate food. You don't need to knit or fix your own clothes due to better fabric tools and increased globalisation due to better transportation technology. You will live many years more than people from a century ago. Science improves our lifes for sure.

That isn't to say there are no stupid ideas in feminism. The idea that logic is naturally misogynistic because it has been used to defend oppression is utterly ridiculous. It is on the level of saying evolution is false because Hitler used it to persecute Jews.
My point is simply that there is some value in discussing feelings and what causes them, or how people are socialized into their roles. It isn't a precise science, like, chemistry, that doesn't mean it is useless.
Technology has helped women a great deal, but that doesn't mean feminist thought has done nothing for them. Feminism is a thought movement, an attempt to shift ideology. The technological advances you mentioned reduced the amount of time needed to perform individual tasks traditionally assigned to women, feminism helped to shift the burden of those tasks from exclusively female to being shared by both partners.

In which countries, exactly? What was the culture like before? Not all of them assigned the same tasks to men and women. You misinterpret the quote at the beginning. When they say that logic is a tool of the patriarchy, they don't mean criticism of feminism - they mean that traditionally, the patriarchy has said "it is logical that women are lesser than men."

Feminism didn't start in the late 1960's, the first wave of feminism arose near the end of the 19th century, from which the result was the right to vote for women and the right for women to study at the university! I am a 22y.o. single mother of a 3m.o daughter and I dont feel that modern day appliences have given me much freedom from domestic duties or has given me freedom to have a life. I am still stuck at home after a long day of work to take care of my apt and my daughter. Just because the pill was invented doesnt mean we go about having sex with everyone. There are still diseases and condoms can only prevent so many of them.. So that is to your "science".

You don't "feel" that the modern day appliances have helped? How much time is saved compared to washing clothes in a tub and washboard? You don't need to buy fresh food every day because you can refrigerate food. You don't need to knit or fix your own clothes due to better fabric tools and increased globalisation due to better transportation technology. That isn't to say there are no stupid ideas in feminism. The idea that logic is naturally misogynistic because it has been used to defend oppression is utterly ridiculous. It is on the level of saying evolution is false because Hitler used it to persecute Jews.
My point is simply that there is some value in discussing feelings and what causes them, or how people are socialized into their roles. It isn't a precise science, like, chemistry, that doesn't mean it is useless.

Technology has helped women a great deal, but that doesn't mean feminist thought has done nothing for them. Feminism is a thought movement, an attempt to shift ideology. The technological advances you mentioned reduced the amount of time needed to perform individual tasks traditionally assigned to women, feminism helped to shift the burden of those tasks from exclusively female to being shared by both partners.

PLUS you still have not proved your strange belief that "girls are ready for sex before boys".From my personal experience it was 3 boys in my class when I was 12 who were verbally sexually harassing the girls.Of these 2-one of then dropped out of school at 15 and the other just grew out of his sexist attitudes.

One could say since birth children have sexual experiences, but they are not 'adult' sexual experiences at all. It is children growing and gradually developing sexually, physically and emotionally within their understanding not 'ours'

That being said the parents of the child has the duty to teach the child to respect the child himself/herself own body and that of others.The mother informs th girls and the father the boys.Although the boys need to know about childbearing from the mother.Boys need to know from both parents how to respect girls and women.

Feminism is not a hate movement. I think you are confusing feminism with radical feminism. The Webster Dictionary defines feminism as the following: "The advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men."
Feminists are not looking to dominate men or be superior to men; they are looking to be equal to them in the ways described in the definition of the word.

Ever heard the term "dead beat dads"? It is a fact that in most single-parent families that the mother is the care giver. A judge will analyze both parents and determine which is the most suitable to care for a child. Sometimes it is the mother and sometimes it is the father. Women do not have MORE rights than men. Sometimes separated parents are not equally capable of caring for a child. Look up the definition of "Feminism" in the dictionary. Then look up "misogyny".

That is ridiculous- but I believe this all stems from the fight for custody between the parents and their selfishness for not thinking of their children first. The judge set guidelines, he violated them and was in contemp of court. Obviously this is a story that is *out of the ordinary* as it is appearing on a talk show. No male genocide? Try looking at "Wife beats up husband - husband gets sent to prison!" here on youtube. The British Crime Survey gives DV to be equal between the sexes at 4.2%. Therefore any "epidemic" of DV will be affecting men as well.

You misinterpret the quote at the beginning. When they say that logic is a tool of the patriarchy, they don't mean criticism of feminism - they mean that traditionally, the patriarchy has said "it is logical that women are lesser than men."

As I was getting older I raised an eyebrow towards how they did things. If I did things my way which in my mind is more efficient, logical, strategic, quality, orderly, they would defy me, even though my was obviously superior; sometimes they would later claim my ideas for their own.
