I really do love this song, when chesney sang it was a great song. but this version actually brought a tear to my eye. Great song Bill thank God you have that gift of writing and emotion, Bill is to writing as to what George Jones is to singing both gifts from the lord.

I've heard Kenny Chesney's version of this song. It came out the year I graduated high school, in 2001. I'm going to see if someone will play it at my class's ten-year reunion.
I know what your going through. I lost my dad just over a year ago. He had a stroke 23 yrs. ago and I was blessed to have him for that long. Will say a prayer for you and your dad and hope everything will be ok!
