By US applications, I mean apps that are usually restricted to the US, and people in other countries do not have the option to download them. Usually you do need to live in the US, but if you follow this tutorial, you should be able to get them internationally (ie UK, Canada etc.).
Hey man, for christman i was in canada, and i got 3 10 dollar itunes cards from canada, but i live in the usa. So i cam e back to US and it doesnt let me enter in the gift card numbers. Any suggestions for what i can do?
Lucky you. I'm not positive, but if you do exactly what is in the tutorial, but switch your country to Canada instead of US, you should be able to use those cards, just it will be a canadian account, and you won't be able to add a US credit card... give this a try, it should work, just be warned, you lucky americains have a lot more selection than we do in itunes :) so you might not be able to get some movies for instance. Sorry this turned out so long...

I think it's pretty much impossible: When you give them your credit card number, it gives them all sorts of ways of figuring out in which country you live: ie: the credit card gives them your postal code, city, address etc.. and even if someone found a way to link a US account with a Canadian, or other credit card, because the US store is in US dollars, you'd encounter quite a few problems. :) sorry about that...
