I played through the Genesis version of this game on both Practice, then Professional to see if I got a different ending for harder difficulty. I was kinda pissed when it wasn't, but I still love the game.
please help me to end this game i cant find the magic power of de godess of the batle and i cant find the armor that open the magic box, i can reach the stage of beelzeebu one two and three times but always i return to the same place the cemetary
when on stage 5-2, make it past the heads on the wall untouched the first treasure box to appear will be the armor, get it and defeat the 2 demons behind the door and the 3 clouds, make it up the stairs and one of the next treasure boxes will be the weapon
that was pretty interesting. the Irate gamer just did a fantastic review for Ghosts n Goblins for the NES. The ending for that game was terrible. This one is a bit better.
lol improving weapons? How about improving that damn armor. Heh at least I could play the original maximo although that was hard. Heh and 'congraturation' is another one in engrish. I do like how fair the maximo vs army of zin game is.
of course, the megadrive/genesis version has 5 megabits of ROM space. the SuperGrafx version has 8 megabits, and the original arcade has either 16 or 32 megabits ( i think it's 32 megabits)... that all goes into color, background/forground detail, resolution, audio quality, etc.

update: the CPS arcade Ghouls 'N Ghost rom was 32-megs.
that's 4 times as large as the SuperGrafx version, and about 6.5 times larger than the MD/Genesis version.

Some of the extra bacground detail is very noticable when you compare the coin op + Super grafx to the mega drive version.
