Well Josh Groban was actually picked by David Foster to stand for Andrea Bocceli in the Oscar (as well as Grammys) rehearsals as the latter was unable to attend. That's when Groban's spectacular career took off! And his voice easily challenges Andrea's, beautiful, warm, big and what a humble character that bloke is!
