i saw them back in the nineties at "monsters of rock" as support for metallica and ac dc ...not much metal heads realize them , i do , and i m a big fan especially since they tour with jimmy page ;-)
I'm not sure these guys can get any better. If they were around in the early 70s, they would probably be considered one of the top 5 bands of all time. Too bad that came along 20 years too late.
great dvd :D Only thing with the production of this album... they've panned the drums a bit weird. The tamborine is only hearable on the right channel, which gives a real out-of-balance feeling to me...
none the less, black crowes are the strongest liveact playing on this planet!
the opening drum beat sounds bit like alice in chains 'no excuses' :)

How many other bands have released 8 albums in 20 years? Offer to their fans the chance to purchase most of their concerts?
They are by far the best thing to happen to rock and roll in the past 20 years. They are the shit!

Is there any doubt that The Crowes are THE best rock band of the past 20yrs? I think not.

All of Warpaint, covers of Elijah and The Stone's Loving Cup. Crowes Rawk!
I have a digicam posting of Evergreen up from the same gig.
