I think ganondorf isn't better than Demise. Oke... Ganondorf was in many games and had a lot more screen time, but Demise came before Ganondorf. If Demise did not curse Link, there probably wouldn't be someone as ganondorf XD. I like them both! Ghirahim is in my opinion the best henchman yet.

@shoocharu: That seems to be rather improbable. Ghirahim got absorbed by the Demon King's sword, back where he belonged at and rejoiced the fact. Since the 'Dark' Master Sword was destroyed when the Demon King was defeated, I doubt him coming back again because the Demon King has enough with placing his curse on Zelda and Link.

@shoocharu: There are explanations for that. In the first place, Ganondorf got ressurected and sealed several times or he had some help (Twinrova). However, he is finally defeated at the current end point of all three timelines originating from Ocarina of Time. It's radically different from Ghirahim or the Demon King: the Demon King's remains were sealed into the Master Sword forever, thus granting it the power to defeat all 'Demon' enemies.

What I don't understand is this- Ghirahim was signifigantly more difficult to deal with in his 3 incarnations than Demise was. Ghirahim is just Demise's sword.

So, either Demise is a crap swordsman, or Ghirahim is stronger.

@Zeldarocks199 Its just that Demise is too much of a Ganondorf knock off, He had too little screen time to separate himself from Ganondorf. Its just like with Malladus. Besides we were all led for four years lord debbie was the final boss only to have him get hijacked by Ganon.

@AlphaOrigin i know it's a long shot but anyone else notice a similarity between the 'metal' ghirahim's facial features and hair, and fi's? also they are both sentient beings who act as a weapon.

@TriForceofEpicness33 Not a long shot at all, notice that Ghirahim refers to a "master" as does Fi. He's also androgynous like Fi but more masculine than feminine. And, of course, he's pretty much a demonic Master Sword complete with mark-of-the-beast inverted Triforce and demon wings.

@AlphaOrigin Ghirahim is an opposite to Fi, being the spirit of a weapon opposite to the master sword and weilded by Demise, who is an opposite to Link.

@aliastheabnormal Demise is the origin of all evil/monsters, and if you pay attention to Demise's final speech, it's heavily, heavily implied that Ganon is the reincarnation of Demise's hatred. They're MEANT to look similar, Skyward Sword acts as an origin story for almost all the other Zelda games. I still like Debbie the Fabulous more, though. 'dat tongue

Ryusei Nakao... You had the honor of voice acting a Frieza-esque villain, which, just like Frieza is my favorite villain in anime, Ghirahim is the most epic villain in any video game.

When the music changed to this version, everything turned intense and it was so awesome. Skyward Sword is my favorite zelda game, ghirahim my favorite character. Best theme, best battle theme, aaaaa its too good to exist

@AkimboNinjaPWN Although I haven't played Four Swords Adventures, I am aware that Aganhim, while not Ganon in disguise, was a puppet controlled by Ganon from within the dark realm. This is from A Link to the Past, not Four Swords Adventures. Furthermore I have not heard of any mention anywhere of Aganhim in Four Swords Adventures. (More to come)

Still, I don't see how stating that they are both wind mages is any indication that I didn't know that Aganhim was a puppet of Ganon.

Going into SS, my only hope was: "Please dont resort to using Ganondorf for the umpteenth time." Ghirahim filled what I was hoping for in a villian, at times gentlemanly, sometimes over the top, and ferocious in battle! Just what i picture a Demon Lord should be.
