I had an 05 WRX with the 4EAT. I beat the crap out of the thing. I did donuts in the parking lot long enough and hard enough to smell gear oil in the rear burning. The 4EAT never hiccuped once while I owned it.

@Drektek i saw one, and drove one. it was a 06 limited sedan and it was so sick. but it was modded shitily and didnt run right (trans was shifting improperly) and so we didnt get it. it still might be for sale too. it was for sale for a LONG time.
i wish i liked the wagons, ive seen a few with an auto. same with older ones. if i get an auto its gotta be a 06+ with the 2.5L
Are you sure that's a 4EAT? I know that the AWD on the WRX 4-speed automatic has a different torque split than the non-turbo 4EATs. Yours is like 45/55% front to rear, which is way more fun in the snow. It allows you to slide the rear end a lot easier than a regular 4EAT (90/10% to 50/50%).

i can imagine. it's easy to find the wagons in 4eat, especially the bugeyes. i have never seen a hawkeye with a 4eat.

yep, i'm positive it's a 4eat that came with my WRX. in some of my other videos you can see it's a stock auto.
