Also, I think he's perfectly happy of Ekler'o'Shock Records, I don't really think he cares how big he gets.
Lastly, yeah, Vyle (vocals) often uses disconnected lyrics and loose associations. (look up his song "Everything All Black") It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me either. I certainly don't think he's the greatest rapper of all time, but then, I don't listen to this music for the value of the words, I listen for way it sounds. Just pretend he's a sample or an auditory texture :)
It's my understanding that the names of the songs (i.e. times) refer to the feelings and mindset experienced by the character/boy that he often features in his artwork. I think I read somewhere that the character is supposed to have found himself in a strange place and he's trying to find his way out, but is followed or possessed by the hooded figure with glowing eyes, that mr. Rivoire assumes the guise of on-stage. Like the boy's alter ego. I could be wrong but that's what I've pieced together.
Lyrics: "I met a man and his hand was swagger His hand. Was. Swagger. We're fingerIn' the red glamor, not a hand-out, no panda-bear W-A-double-g-d-r, 19, C.G.R. Power Up,now; Power Panda..." Look, no offense to this guy or his music music (Because they both fucking KICK ASS), but... WTF ARE THESE LYRICS???
@FeValVi they are the time when he finishes a song except for 88:88 which is supposed to refer to a clock that is either broken or turned off and just displaying the lights that make up the other numbers.
I'm in love with Danger stuff, but i am not clear about something... do someone knows about the story behind the tittle of these songs??? why those hours?
@FeValVi Franck (Danger) said in an Interview that the time-labeled tracks relate to the feelings that occur in that particular time. 88.88 was just a joke made up by him.

yes very much agree with lumu it is very annoying to see that same comment on all the video's...was tempted to mark as spam I mean i appreciate the sentiment but that is a little over the top
it eventually leads to the different branches of mainstream corporate sell-out culture.
where ones musical sucess, and aristic ability is over ridden by cynical reveiws from terrible magazines, usually written by middle aged, musically challenged idiots. who are still searching for the next U2.
either that, or applauded, because of their multiple plays on a particular song on tv stations, and then catagorized, in little pathetic adolescent like sub-genres, and played to death by moaning apathetic teenagers, wallowing in mediocrity and self pity.
I, as a 16 year old self-absorbed wailing banshee of an angst filled teen have a similar view.
This will never be popular, it isn't bland and unadventurous enough.
Adventurous decent bands that are popular are out there but yknow how it is, they get a bit worse and they go out of fashion, I like it like this -underground- too.
Then I can gloat about how "I knew them before they were famous".
id have to agree. a perfect example of which would be hardcore music. for some reason hardcore has this effect on people where if you are a musician in a hardcore band, you instantly become a god regardless of whether or not you suck as a band. or at least thats how it is in my area.
I'd say people like them because they are emo BITCHES! not really... but I guess people like what they like... w/e the case, you love Danger and so do I and that is all that counts. YOUR opinion matters. Nobody's opinion should matter to you as long as you enjoy it.
I guess if u state something as "not everyone has as great taste as us" is u making a fact of that, am I wrong? and if calling names makes you feel better, im not stopping u. its kind of amusing
meh tokio hotel and all them, meh seen it like...50 billion times before? i think certain acts only get popular because like thier 'in' and all the people who want to seem popualr pretend to like it (posers) we need more dedicated fans to electronic music
but there are so many dedicated electronic fans, and ones which love it for a lifetime, rather than some trendy fad. it just isnt as overrated and promoted mainstreamly as say - tokio hotel.
i dont understand why tokio hotel seem to always be drawn in comparison with danger lol b
mhm, i mean electronic as if the whole shebang, daft punk and every single other dj, but how come i feel like im the only one who is the only fan in my school?
sorry to say this, but FUCK school and all the people in it. I say that solely on the basis of my own experience ofcourse, but most people in it are stupid, alienated fools, following the crowds, conforming to almost anything, as they dont even know/care what they belive in.
amen to that, its just they all follow so much fads that even theyd admit theyve seen 50000 times before
some times i feel as if im the guy who observes everything, outside of everything :P its kinda fun just noticing how different groups congregrate in my school
@4st5lbs your right, education is dumb. I wish we had no doctors, agricultural studies to make food, or technology to make the computer or even music your listening to. STFU.
Don't be like that, firstly he didn't say anything about education, but the people in school.
It;s true, at school you notice groups develop. Very often these groups also think as a group, not as an individual. It can really bug the hell out of me as well.
And please, I'm not trying to start a flame-war here, just trying to show you his side :)
after years, today was the first day i realized i had no idea what these lyrics meant

Why is something like : Tokio Hotel more popular than Danger?
I mean French Electro is the best on earth -.-"
Why does nobody appreciate it?
I think Danger has something that daft punk and justice and all other artists don't have, that makes him the best...
GENIUS
EPIC
btw. i love 8-bit :3

good music lies better in the underground

whatsdoes up ground do?
sandran17 2 years ago
it eventually leads to the different branches of mainstream corporate sell-out culture.
where ones musical sucess, and aristic ability is over ridden by cynical reveiws from terrible magazines, usually written by middle aged, musically challenged idiots. who are still searching for the next U2.
4st5lbs 2 years ago 6
either that, or applauded, because of their multiple plays on a particular song on tv stations, and then catagorized, in little pathetic adolescent like sub-genres, and played to death by moaning apathetic teenagers, wallowing in mediocrity and self pity.
4st5lbs 2 years ago 2
I, as a 16 year old self-absorbed wailing banshee of an angst filled teen have a similar view.
This will never be popular, it isn't bland and unadventurous enough.
Adventurous decent bands that are popular are out there but yknow how it is, they get a bit worse and they go out of fashion, I like it like this -underground- too.
Then I can gloat about how "I knew them before they were famous".
Have fun.
MsUnreliable 2 years ago
It has nothing to do with the 'I knew them first' or any of that. Its about good music, and fame should not hinder a true good artist.
4st5lbs 2 years ago 3
id have to agree. a perfect example of which would be hardcore music. for some reason hardcore has this effect on people where if you are a musician in a hardcore band, you instantly become a god regardless of whether or not you suck as a band. or at least thats how it is in my area.

not everyone has as good taste as us xD
But Tokio Hotel is NOT good at all IMO.
I'd say people like them because they are emo BITCHES! not really... but I guess people like what they like... w/e the case, you love Danger and so do I and that is all that counts. YOUR opinion matters. Nobody's opinion should matter to you as long as you enjoy it.
Itsnameisgundam 2 years ago 5
@ Itsnameisgundan, everyone has their own taste, its a opinion not a fact
cyborgchimpy 2 years ago
reread my statement.
think about it a little bit.
Don't say stupid things and you might not look like a total douche bag.
I'm sorry. But no where at all did I say it is fact. In fact, my whole statement was about opinion.
Itsnameisgundam 2 years ago
I guess if u state something as "not everyone has as great taste as us" is u making a fact of that, am I wrong? and if calling names makes you feel better, im not stopping u. its kind of amusing
cyborgchimpy 2 years ago
sorry if sarcasm is a crime.

meh tokio hotel and all them, meh seen it like...50 billion times before? i think certain acts only get popular because like thier 'in' and all the people who want to seem popualr pretend to like it (posers) we need more dedicated fans to electronic music
sandran17 2 years ago
but there are so many dedicated electronic fans, and ones which love it for a lifetime, rather than some trendy fad. it just isnt as overrated and promoted mainstreamly as say - tokio hotel.
i dont understand why tokio hotel seem to always be drawn in comparison with danger lol b
4st5lbs 2 years ago
mhm, i mean electronic as if the whole shebang, daft punk and every single other dj, but how come i feel like im the only one who is the only fan in my school?
sandran17 2 years ago
sorry to say this, but FUCK school and all the people in it. I say that solely on the basis of my own experience ofcourse, but most people in it are stupid, alienated fools, following the crowds, conforming to almost anything, as they dont even know/care what they belive in.
4st5lbs 2 years ago
amen to that, its just they all follow so much fads that even theyd admit theyve seen 50000 times before
some times i feel as if im the guy who observes everything, outside of everything :P its kinda fun just noticing how different groups congregrate in my school
sandran17 2 years ago
i agree, same experience
most people follow other people coz its easy,
but some follow their hearts, which is what really counts in my opinion
bsscrew 2 years ago
@4st5lbs your right, education is dumb. I wish we had no doctors, agricultural studies to make food, or technology to make the computer or even music your listening to. STFU.
newspapertux 2 years ago
Don't be like that, firstly he didn't say anything about education, but the people in school.
It;s true, at school you notice groups develop. Very often these groups also think as a group, not as an individual. It can really bug the hell out of me as well.
And please, I'm not trying to start a flame-war here, just trying to show you his side :)
