I know from personal experience I've only used an oriental in the studio it seems that most of the shitty or cheap china's sound best live! and the same goes for different cymbals A Customs sound amazing for studio work but live they just don't have much of a heavy sound....Now the A or K Series Zildjan's sound amazing live but also pack a nice punch in the studio as well!

A car doesn't need air con and neon lights to get you to where you want to go.. It's even a bit annoying sometimes having to concentrate on the drum parts real hard so your face doesn't completely melt off! xD
