@hempartist420 it expands your capillaries, but can actually reduce lung function to as low as 80% for some. nevertheless, search for the cure for cancer and you will find help oil treats skin cancers and eliminates them. video testimony and pictures. search for theyoungturks and marijuana exit drug and they cite a study that marijuana is not a gateway drug, it is an EXIT drug: it helped 100% (!) of the alcoholics that participated in that study to wean themselves from alcohol.
Bahai faith solves it all!! the Bahai laws are new that was not present in any other laws before and flexible. Now adays scientist say that generation might go back to cannibal living and need every era a new teacher!! I m a bahai and happy !!!
@Wisdombluetooth I have great respect for Guy Murchie who wrote The Seven Mysteries of Life. He was of the Bahai faith. I still don't know much about it.
Americans are extremely addicted to caffeine, alcohol, moan/complain, sue and the dollar. Does that mean that their brain is out of place and damaged?
Greco-Buddhism, sometimes spelt Graeco-Buddhism, refers to the cultural syncretism between Hellenistic culture and Buddhism, which developed between the 4th century BCE and the 5th century CE
I watched this yesterday, he talked about how someone had a messed up brain, and showed the persons brain on the SPECT scan "2 days after he started 'treatment'", and it looked way healthier... Is it just me, or does that sound incredibly fishy?
Not only that, but the scientific community does not agree with his usage of the SPECT in diagnosing early Alzheimer's.
His whole spiel has as much credence as that of a televangelist/infomercial.
I watched this as well on pbs. It is such good meat. When you look at what he's saying it has been proven time and time again. Look out there people that exercise, don't drink a lot, have good social skills, that don't smoke, and arn't fat, are sharper and do have better jobs and are more successful therefore having a better brain.
While what he says does sound cliche, sometimes with all the newfangled quick-fix techniques out there, we tend forget that the simplest, most cliched and common sense techniques are the ones that work.
everybody knows that you should eat healthy and exercise regularly. does that mean everyone does it? sometimes getting people to do things is a matter of finding someone or something that clicks with them. So yeah, maybe it's not original, but if gets someone to take care of themselves better, who are we to complain?
Anything curable by a placebo isn't a "real" problem, at least, not in a physical since. I think there is a place for placebos. I'm not suggesting everything should be treated with them, but they do serve well in certain scenarios. There are many treatments out there that don't use pills to cure depression.
They sell flu shots to the gov....are they hoping for the "placebo" affect? Do you know why a drug trial is always pitted against a placebo? ....because a placebo will always show a response; frequently beating the "drug"

All this message to me is a boring cliche that everyone should know by now. I really don't see anything powerful or shocking here: a priori knowledge. The best type of meditation is called sleeping. Nothing works better than that...and if you can't do that, take a five minute break. No one needs pseudo science unless they are week minded and can be fix by placebos.
You're absolutely wrong about sleep equaling meditation. They are two totally different things - science has proven this through numerous, unrelated research and brain wave studies in over the past 30-40 years. A weak mind is one that is inflexible and resistant to possibilities beyond what is familiar.
Meditation is a proven medical fact that it does relieve stress and can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol and increase brain activity, look up lectures by neuropsychiatrists and you will see that they talk about meditation and other big tips on memory tools to improve your memory and brian activity.
so weed doesn't harm me AWESOME

@hempartist420 Actually, anything that is smoked contains carcinogens. However, it is not even close to other drugs harmful affects.

Besides his pseudo science techniques on preventing AD, all he's selling is stuff everyone already knows.
He's added nothing to the scientific community.
And he's hardly qualified to be considered a "doctor".
Unless you consider having a medical degree from "Oral Roberts University" is worthy of such a title.
