I read about this in GameInformer and the thing is they want parents not to buy M games for their children. Like when a minor goes to buy an M game and the parent buys the game for them.

if people want to ban something it should be rap because that seems to be the most affecting thing..just about every kid smokes and drinks and wears a hoody

Very well said about parental control. This breed of parents today just can;t do it for themselves for whatever reason. I guess no other generation of parents had to "work" before.

And I also agree with what you said about what children should not have exposed to them. That is what is wrong with society today - they are exposed too much before they are emotionally ready.

I guess the whole physical harm" angle is just another cog on this bog wheel of "childhood obesity" gobbledygook.

What I don't underrated is - the movie rating system is no different than this and we have coexisted with that for over a half century. Why the VG industry should be any different is beyond me.

OTOH, if they ban those kinds of games, they should ban iCarly and half the anti-male crap on Nickelodeon.

i dont think theyre harmful. i just thin kids are retarded cause theyre like 8 years old playing like grand theft auto 4, and their parents dont care. and then theyre like "i can kill people! but dont worry! they respawn!
