Interesting. I have a few questions for you. What is the stoichiometry of the reaction as you claimed? Also how would you keep the electrical connection from shorting out due to the electrolysis process? Interesting either way.
Hmmm! You want champion mice. Good runners. Give 'em a little Gatorade once in awhile. The top producers get to multiply. We're breeding racing mice here! You set up the cages with holes underneath so you can just sweep the little poop pellets off the floor. The cages are tight, with not much to do except run. Let 'em drink a little coffee once in awhile. Should get at least 10kw out of each mouse over it's life span. Give 'em table scraps. They'll be happy!
What if you had a little electrolysis tank under the hood of your car and you devote 300 watts from the alternator to the tank which is not a lot especially if you're not using accessories like a big stereo. So...then you run the hydrogen and oxygen produced into the air intake of the engine to supercharge it. Would the engine not love some pure hydrogen and oxygen gasses in it's intake??? I think it would. As you can see here it doesn't take a lot of electricity to get some bubbles.
the problem is that there's a very fine point of where it's efficient, and where it's not. in reality it's only a couple watts for the most efficient production, it just doesn't produce very fast.
A couple of watts? Then they should set it up like many small electrolysis units under small solar cells, connected to make a large panel. Like a million little hamsters all running on wheels, working together for a brighter tomorrow. LOL!! Actually, what if I set up 1000 mouse cages in my garage with little alternators attached to their wheels. Could they power my house??? I could give them each a few pellets of dog food each day, a little water, and BANG!!! Power's on!
Dude! You make a little van out of plywood and bike tires. You get 1000 mice in the back. Dog food goes in.....electricity comes out.....you're driving!!! Now you got a nice cheap 1000 mousepower van that uses dog food and table scraps for food. You get a little airhorn to scare them into running if you need full power. You hook up a battery to store extra juice. You could go camping and have free power with this thing.
I don't understand why you couldn't run a small motor from the hydrogen which could be used to run a small electricity generator which would create more electricity to provide more bubbles causing the small motor to spin faster. The heat generated by the motor could also help the electrolysis process. The exhaust from the motor would be pure water so you set these up in the desert and slowly green the entire earth. Simple. But no one wants to help each other so we're all going to die.
If I had the money I would. I need about $500,000 to turn 1 acre of desert into lush jungle by the ocean. Or about 1 million to turn 1 acre of desert into crops in the middle of nowhere. This could be much cheaper. The systems that I would use would last for at least 50 years. So for about $10,000 per year you get an acre of hyper lush farmland. Irrigated and composted. By stringing multiple systems together you could literally turn Africa into paradise.
If 1 acre is nothing, then the whole desert is nothing. It would only affect the ecosystem in a good way, unless you don't like breathing fresh air. Don't be so pessimistic.
i´m not pessimistic at all. BUT: we increased the temperature on earth by just 2 degrees and look what it does! the ecosystem is much more sensitive than we all think... which doesn´t mean that i´d find it bad if your plan actually worked...
Don't worry about global warming. We'll cool the deserts with rain forests!!! There's only a few things stopping us....war, greed, oil companies, evil people, and just a couple other things. As soon as we're done with all that, we can work on this. If people will not stop fighting, we're done.
in fact rain forests hae a lower albedo than deserts which means that they absorb more light. that means we actually heat up even more but that´s not the thing as the rain forest sucks up all the CO2 which will probably neutralize that.
i mean that rain forests in the desert will bring too much water there which leads to extreme storms and stuff...
the truth is that people will never stop and the only thing you can realistically do is for the TRUE superiors among our peers to create new technologies which make it more profitable to be humane than cruel.if you want people to stop stabbing each other, quel it with guns, if you want to quel guns, use a missile, if you want to quel that, use a nuke, if you want to quel that, then eliminate war. to quel war, is to provide all sides with a quality of life so no sheeple will allow it.
If only hydrogen was efficent which it isnt too bad fossil fuels/coal make up 82% of all energy used/made and wind/solar/hydro only makes up 3% haha how are we going to transfer all that 82% of energy into 3% after fossil fuels peak...? Basically when it comes to energy we are straight fucked there isnt enough room on the planet to place enough solar panels/wind turbines/water turbines to create that much energy and where will we get the energy to make these products?
Fossil is going to peak soon did you not figure that out where are you going to get the power to make solar, wind, water energy creating structures? You just havent figured out the fact that fossil fuels are running low solar panels cost too much and are too hard to maintain in the desert are you kidding? One sand storm and they would all be fucked. Wind is way too expencive and each windmill has a 3 year waiting list to be built and hydo is completely out of reach.
You still dont get it and why the hell would I use punctuation on fucking youtube are you kidding me you know youre a fucking nerd when you use punctuation on youtube its a fucking reply that wont amount to anything anyways youre forgetting the fact that all natural energy sources are not efficent enough to just switch over to we will always need fossil fuels or we are going to have a stand still in production for years the sooner you realize this the smarter you might become well maybe not you.
and u need to build a tank. with 2 terminals in it, hydrogen will come of one of the electrodes( cathode / anode) and oxygen off the other, not sure which are which tho.
Dr. Dipshit, using an electrolyte system, another dork cooking a capacitor. And these guys are supposed to be experts. No one will beat my system. 12V, ZERO CURRENT!!! MORONS!!! NO ELECTROLYTE, NO TOXICITY, NO HEAT!!!! My system will cost you though, thousands but you'll never have an energy crisis.
Your eloquent explanation of your system, as well as the verbal degradation of the people in this video, along with your capital letters and exclamation of MORONS!!! really makes me want to do business with you and hear more about how your system works.

Secondly these guys electrolytes create toxic water that then will not recycle propoerly back into the system and we could use up our water with systems like that. My water doesn't kill my flowers. I get 1 penny in, 1 dollar out.
OK i take the HHO program pretty serious, but you are talking bull.Let us know what you "know" or sell it on the web. If you have a syatem that works share it with the world... and i am not talking about your thingy , i am talking about the secret you are hiding in a sack ( if you have a secret to hide or if you just make big waves ... )
i all for the hydrogen era i like the idea of it just if we could just go all solar to produce hydrogen and if there were no other products this woulid be great just pure hydrogen and oxygen
Let's see... we have a shortage of fresh water, so let's use it to produce fuel? Gee, maybe we could do that with food, too. (think corn) I read that Honda has made a hydrogen fuel car that, when put in production, would only cost $1,000,000 to make. (I am not making that up). We need a different source of power, and hydrogen is not it - it takes more energy to make than it provides. It's like spending $10 to get $7. Don't tell me that solar is free - it isn't.
ok say we have a shortage of water, we are using it as fuel. but when you you use that hydrogen either in a IC engine of through a fuel cell you get the exact same amount of water back out as water vapor. and with more water vapor it would also help increse the amount of rain. be watering the fields with rain, reduces the water usage
so really tell me whats wrong with a little more rain
K, The problem is that the water is now spread all over the place and is not readily usable. We don't really have a shortage of water. We have too much water that is not available. Salt water for eg. Too much in one spot and not enough in another - think flood and drought. Too bad we don't have a way too store water, you know, like a reservoir. Which we have now decided are bad. How stupid is that? What about the hydrogen peroxide by product??? Also, does this process produce any heat??
i all for the hydrogen era i like the idea of it just if we could just go all solar to produce hydrogen and if there were no other products this woulid be great just pure hydrogen and oxygen
hi, it is generally said that the ideal voltage to produce hydrogen from water is around 2 v but car battery voltage is 12 volts .can you please suggest me what should be done..
Solar panels are on the verge of becoming incredibly cheap and efficient. It's a matter of time before we find even better alloys. Also, you could technically use salt water and create perfectly pure fresh water in the process.
First off you don't need fresh water to make hydrogen in fact it works better in a acid like salt water it's also not a source of power its more like a battery (stored Energy) just like oil thats stored energy that form plants and animals the only difference is that we can make hydrogen at the flip of a switch and we all ready are doing stupider tings then your 10$ in 7$ out in the oil sands were the energy needed to produce 1 barrel of oil in equal 2 barrels hydrogen is minimum 80-90% efficient
Or instead of all this complicated electrolysis machine, you could have the power from the solar cell attached directly to an electric motor or battery. No inefficient electrolysi, no expensive fuel cells.
the guy never said that he was going to use it for a engine it could just be a hobby something that he gets joy from like some people like fixing cars, same idea its a hobby
The most current economical high production success is being scaled up by BlackLight Power. It shows more potential than any other known method for Hydrogen gas production with a multitude of applications.
I've seen lots of these demos on youtube. Has anyone concidered Gibb's function and that you can get what appears to be overunity electolysis of water by keeping the voltage to 1.42 vDC per cell (or less)? You had far to few cells to take advantage of about 30% free energy and most of your energy was being wasted as heat.
this experiment shows that we can use solar energy to generate hydrogen and oxygen from water. Then we can use the two gases in fuel cells to generate electricity. This means that we can store the energy from the sun in any devices, including our car. This is the utmost importance of this expt!
well yeah. thats cause 1 mole of H is 1g and 1 mole of O is 16g thats why it weights more. but the volume of the two are the same. exceptthere are 2 H in water so it doubles the volume of the gas
that doesn't make this electro chemistry any harder you know. Your just saying an old faggot from high school could do this in his bedroom- am I right? Besides what does sexuality have to do with science?
when you say "efficient" (01:17) could you make some sort of comparison with for e.g. petroleum, for lay people and when you say "large quantity" (01:29) how, do u justify that statement: "large quantity", again for lay people, thank you
Ingenious, Solves alot of problems with the usage of electricty being more than the hydrogen, when put through a Cell Stack, creates. Looks effecient.
The semiconductor electrode composition and preparation procedures have been outlined in a series of patents. Papers are being prepared for submission to scientific journals, e.g., Science.
@SOLARH2 Would you be willing to share the specs on this system? (voltage/amperage input, construction of the fuel cell, and how much H2 the system puts out) I'd like to try to experiment with this some. Thanks!

For all those spliting water;
-1kWh=860kcal
-H2 combustion energy = 33811kcal/kg
-you need 8.9368 kg of water to get 1kg of H.The rest (7.9368 kg) is O.
So,in 1kg of H2O we have 4.4 kWh of H.
Let the electrolizer work for 1 hour, weigh the water "evaporated", calculate electric consumption and then tell us...
