  • Does this break the lock?

  • i like these vids but cant c wat is being done nor does it have sound which is very stupid

  • Woah...where did you get an orange and blue lock!?

  • u can make those easily with a tin can or aluminum can, tin is the best though

  • where do u get the shim????

  • lmfao promoting theivery but yeah master locks are chodes lol if you throw them against the floorhard like 3-4 times they pop open.

  • Try doing that when it's locked onto something. :P

  • 0:32

  • Mine does. Can get into any locker in my school now : D

  • mine doesent work i made like 5 of them

  • when you order the shims online can they send it to a PO box or does it have to be a home adress

    please reply

  • It can be PO

  • can someone plz make a vid of how to make that and not out of a soda can lol

  • Padlocks that can be shimmed are useless.

  • did u make that? or buy it?

  • Try shimming an American combination lock, you'll see the difference in quality.

  • U.S.A

    U.S.A

    U.S.A

  • no

    depens=ds wich states ur in

  • stop talking about what ya dont know! yes u can buy them they cost about 20$ on a website ill put up in a bit

  • where can i buy 1 please comment me bak

  • u cant buy them you have to make them your self...they are realy easy to make

  • u lier i bought some last week

  • Where would you buy one of those because I'm tired of the soda can ones breaking after the first try with them. The ones that you buy are made of stronger metal right, so they wont break easily and there quicker, but I don't know where to get one.

  • yeah where can you get them my hand have a shit load of cut on them and i cant seem to do it with out a pair of tweezers.

  • lol u just cut a square out of soda can and bend it to the shape of the part that opens and then shove it down on the left side whatever side it opens so...shove it down as far as it can go and pull up and down on the shaft part until it opens it shud hopefull workk i mastered it in 2 secs lol!

  • Why won't my shims work?

I make fairly nice shims, and I do everything the way yall do, but I can't get any master locks open.

    I've only succeeded once.

  • where do u get them>???

  • the soda can shims wont work well on masters

  • wrong, I use shims with ease on master locks... the pop can shims.

  • you have to replace them after very few uses.

  • buddy not it can't. I am a 12 year old lock picking hobbist who wants to be a locksmith!

  • Ok I am clearing this up! this technique can't be used with a key lock!

  • Yes, it can be used in *SOME *CHEAP key locks

  • Can you do that with locks that use a key?

  • it IS easy lol

  • How come he doesnt spin the numbers on the lock?

  • it just releaces the clasp holding it shut, he dosent need to turn the numbers.

  • about this last comment... i saw it and it was so dumb i have to respond...

what if you made some shims before you break in someplace? well der, what a novel idear!

  • you can crack the actual combo to the lock in just a few minutes, it's arguably more practical.

  • sorry for the double post, check my profile to see a video on how to do it

  • u can find the vid in my profile

  • how is that more practical? a padlock shim takes 2 seconds, and you can make them out of tin cans, or buy them for next to nothing. Also works for any padlock (save the ball locks).

  • lets say u're breaking in some place, yea there's prolly a tin can lying around, but how're u gonna shape it into a shim, and if by some stretch u do do it, wat if it breaks in the lock, u're effed. and as for the more practical part, it's because it takes nothing more than ur brain and a few minutes of ur time as opposed to carrying a little piece of tin around with u all the time, wat would u do, keep it in ur wallet? wat if u lost it? can't lose ur brain

  • ok, lets say you are breaking into something, your method would take about 10 minutes. I'd rather chance breaking a shim then standing there for 10 minutes figureing out the combo

  • how is it more practcal. it takes 1 min to make a shim and 1 sec to use it.

  • i could open it but i have to pry it open a bit to fit comfortly through and soda cans tend to break easily

  • where do u find these shims i cant fins any on ebay!

  • just notice how everyone who has one of theese videos is using a floresent type of master lock .. or supa cheap, the shackle dosent fit as securly into theese and makes it much eaiser

  • Where the heck do you buy these shims?! I can't seem to find them anywhere.

  • you can buy them on ebay or u could just make 1 from a can. u can make like 10-15 with one can.

  • i tried to make one out of a can .. it just kept breaking lol

  • if u make it from a can make the tip of it kinda rounded and wide so it wont break.

  • did that =]

  • make them out of a soda can

  • This is the reason I only buy combination locks with dials-- no springy pawl to push back. Sesamee decoder's remain a problem though <sigh>.

  • I did it once with my masterlock because I forgot the combination. It worked once and only once, the soda can skims bend to easy. I just emailed ML for the code.

  • same

  • ye i looked up how to make a homemade one and used a can from some drink and cut it out in that shape. and then i tried it on my lock at school but the shim was too thick to slide in!

  • i tried opening a lock like that with a home made shim, but i cant do it. how do you open that combination lock that easily?

  • very nice. you make it look easy..
