Yes, venting fury at the torch is the easiest way protesters can make big news on the TV for everyone to see, otherwise it's just another boring protest that would hardly get much interest. They're showing their frustration like this because they realize they're powerless to change anything in any way regarding the China Olympics.

They didn't feel too concerned about Germany in 1936 either, and the Nazis of the time invented the torch. Furthermore, if Americans were as energised about the state of the nation that is America, America and the world would be a better place. Think about it, Pennsylvania, etc :-)

how distracting and annoying to see that advertisement constantly moving across the lower part of the screen. it forces me to block off that part of the screen whenever i watch it. as the video progressed, the moving advertisement kept going higher and higher. by the time it finished, i had to have half of Jackie Mason's face blocked off. how incredibly annoying and frustrating

Majority of American citizens are just finding out what China is doing to Tibet... how many years are we going on since China seized Tibet.. and the media has just begun to shed some light on the situation just because of the olympics... not to be mean but I dont care about Tibet or the Dali Lama.. to me this is just another example of how dull peoples senses are.
