I'm so glad to hear he is out and about. Jonathan needs lots of R&R. It must be very stressful to not only play HRM Henry VIII but to stay in character 'til shooting is over. That would add enough stress on anyone to have their stomach ulcer flare up let alone getting one. I know 'cause when my 44 yr old son and I go at it verbally, I have to stay in bed the whole next day to get my body back to normal. He puts so much of himself into his acting; he needs to get a puppy "mans best friend".

i mean... few weeks ago i saw a clip from the tudors and there was this scar round his stomach and... hah. i was like-hey, he didn't have this one in match point, did he?

yes, he has always had it, i think it was from either a stomach ulcer or a kidney operation one or the other but its always been there, <3 jonny glad hes getting back on the right track again and having a break from filming etc, thanks for the clip :):)

He had a flare up of his stomach ulcer. He was in the hospital awhile. When he backed out of a couple of appearances to promote the Tudors, people were worried about what was going on and that he'd perhaps relapsed. Turns out his stomach was flaring up and he wound up in the hospital.

Thanks QR! Nice to see him doing good. He was in NY last week but only made it to one of the shows he was supposed to be on "The View" and I was worried but I guess he just needed to be in the sun! Love Him!
