this guy i know shot a yote at 150 yard with a 22 it was luck but a 22 will kill them i wouldnt aim for the head cause the skull is thick shoot them in their soft heart
I live in a rural area, never hunted a day in my life, and need some info on killing coyotes in my backyard..What kind of call are you using?? What kind of light?? And all I have is a 22 rifle, will that do the job as far as being accurate?? Probably will be as close as 20 yards. Coyotes killed my girls poodle and I'm looking to killing as many as possible.
A .22 is very accurate, you wont have any problem hitting them at 20 yards. But since the .22 is such a small round it may not kill them, aim for the head. I suggest getting a bigger rifle though. Sorry about the poodle, good luck with your coyote hunting.

Coyotes are predators. Most often they hunt in packs. I know a man that had his 11 year old daughter attacked by one. Sometimes we cross paths with them, most of the time we loose. I have them kill my chickens, that produce eggs for me. Once they find out chickens are there, they will dig under fences, chew threw chicken wire, and break in a kill all. I shoot them because I cannot get rid of them any other way. A 308, 150gr. Cor-Lokt does the trick nicely....good hunting.
