  • My favourite song from the past 10 years. Neil Finn's songwriting is definitely as good as Lennon & McCartney.

  • Brilliant.

  • So sad that Paul couldn't hold on!

  • One of my favorite songs of all times. I found it on the sound track to Because of Winn Dixie.

  • So poignant , the line "Even if time is just a flicker of light, and we all have to die alone"....RIP Paul ...

  • Not just the Finn Brothers, the Stacey Brothers too on drums and guitar!

  • Seen these guys in Glasgow,Scotland U.K fantastic!

  • Brilliant!

  • awesome song from the brothers that gave me the gift of split enz!!!!

  • r.i.p city of christchurch garden city

  • 2004 it seems.

  • Dad listened to Radio Caroline all the time a few years ago. 2003 maybe? This song was played every day. Wonderful, wonderful wonderful. The memories that it brings back - lovely. Easily one of my favourite songs ever written. I mean how many people could use this as a backing track to their favourite summers?

  • Oh, it's so good to see Hessie too.

  • paul hester RIP

  • Brilliant!

But try out Disconnected voices which is my favourite track. Anyone who shared a room as kids with a brother, or sister, will tune in immediately to its wonderful lyrics.

  • I just love them!!!!! Never fails to brighten up any day!!!!

  • best finn ssong

  • This song puts me in such a good mood, I love it. 5 stars for the talented Finn Brothers!!

  • Finally found them playing live. Lived 800 miles from my family for 8 months, trying to survive the worst job I ever had. This song kept me going through the bad times. Thank you Finn Brothers for this awesome song.

  • ahhhh - Hessie....

  • I first heard this song during the closing scene in the series "Love My Way". It was so appropriate as the last song of this series and watching it now during this clip, the fabulous Finn brothers , still bring a lump to my throat. Wonderful song!

  • @Ardendave on a par with squeeze maybe, but , they have had a longer career so i guess your right

  • If only new NZ music was like this

  • who were the beatles ........? They can't even be close to the Finn bros !

  • @hereyougoweird I think the Finn Brothers are brilliant songwriters, but Lennon and McCartney can't be beaten.

  • Doesn't get any better than the Finns!

  • I love this performance ... it never fails to move me and bring tears to my eyes.

  • what a performance!

  • 1 trillion stars

  • I like the finns brothers music as well crowded house. They should be whole lot bigger then they are.

Im still glad that neil and tim are still making music together or alone

  • Another great song by the Finn Brothers...

  • Just fawkin incredible!!! LOVE this song so much!!! These cats even sound great live!!!

  • They are stunning and still globally (relatively speaking) underrated. Everyone is Here is a majestic album indeed.

  • Grosse Klasse!

  • this one's such a huge favorite to me - popped into my head today while i was working out in the gym...

  • Fantabulous!!! This has been on my favourites since dot! So beyond awesome!

  • I'm at a loss to explain why the Finn Brothers don't perform "Anything Can Happen" more often in concert. Of all the live performances of theirs here on Youtube, you WON'T find that song anywhere, which is really sad! IMHO it's the BEST song they have done as a duo hands down!

  • I love their music. Every time I listen to anything Finn related it always makes me feel that I'm home.

  • Love this song and their Everyone Is Here album. Some of their best work.

  • perfect

  • Wondeful harmonies, lyrics, and sound!! Creative genius'!! I love this song!!

  • Absolutely amazing...., their harmonies are the best!!

  • Love them! What else can you say?

  • WOW!!

  • oh my gosh, wow i have never heard these guys. they are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! stunning performance.

  • So glad you've found them - look for albums by The Finn Brothers, Neil Finn, Tim Finn, Split Enz & Crowded House (& Neil's son Liam)

  • harmonies are even better live

  • Sounds a little like Steve Barraza

  • This is the beautiful first track on The Finn Bros. album "Everyone Is Here". There's a poignant video out, too, for this great song. The rest of the album is fantastic, as well.

  • Liam has a new album out called "I'll Be Lightning" and that track is on there. It's a very good CD.

  • we miss you hessie!!!!! Paul Hester was a great man.

  • Thats Jeremy Stacy on drums...he plays for Sheryl Crow a lot...in fact,,is on tour with her this coming tour....

    It's his bro,Paul,on lead guitar........

  • Pure genius

  • With Paul Hester doing the intro...we miss you Paul, you always made the crowd smile, you were so funny and silly.

I am positive Liam's "Everyone Gathered To The Chapel" is all about Paul. It's a hauntingly beautiful song, but who would expect anything less than amazing from the Finn family.

  • I think so too...(about Liams song I mean)

I'm pretty sure I did hear him comment on it once...

and yes, it's an amazing song.

  • superb.

  • amazing. neil fin is up there with the gr8s.

  • Me too, since 1980... Watch the more controlled, haunting video version of this, from their album Everyone Is Here (The Finn Bros.)

  • I am in love!

  • Man, the dude on drums was great at the end. Who was that?

  • Not sure, but it could be Ross Burge.

  • It's only been shown on pay-tv so far.

  • ahhhhh yes!

  • At last a great live version of the best song of 2004 on youtube. Thanks. Love this.

  • paul hester looking old there. RIP dude

  • What a fantastic performance. Tim is looking so sexy. I'm especially lovin' his hair.

    :sigh:
