99 SVT Mustang Cobra MRT catted H and Flowmaster Original 40 weld ins

I've been looking all over for flowmaster original 40's for my 99 cobra. What offset are yours do you know?

This sounds good man. Do you think the stock mufflers will sound ok with the MRT H catted pipe until I can afford to get flows welded in on mine? Could you tell a difference in power when you put the mid pipe on?

@MrCammicster I think it'll sound like shit, but my opinion doesn't matter.....only yours, Bro. Slight bump in power with the midpipe, but the tune and 4.10s are what REALLY woke the car up.

And could just be audio but your first launch when you went into second your clutched slipped a bit, do you have factory luk clutch cause mines does the same thing, I go through a clutch every 3 months cause it slips before it wears completely down?

@2889joeracer The 320 horses these cars put out are nice but just like this 99 bogged down from a 1st to second speed shift, they all do!!! These cars have absolutely no low rpm torque and thats the biggest thing!!! They have long ass gears but they just dont have torque. My buddy has a 95 trans am and he shifts 2 times to my one and I stay ahead of him by a nose from a roll or a whole car and a half from a dead stop!!! Like I said, we have long gears, these cars just take a while to go thru em

I own a 99 cobra, car has weld on flowmaster 40's, rest of exhaust is factory and it does sound nice. But the only thing I dont like is that when I downshift, you can't hear much like i used to be able to hear in my 96 gt. My 96gt also had weld in flowmaster 40's but the cats were cut and replaced with a straight welded pipe and it sounded amazing on a downshift. I think that if I were to just get rid of the cats, the car would sound beastly, not too many people use flow 40's on cobras!!!

Thanx, guys! Seriously, the vid doesn't do it justice. It's not as loud as a lot of exhaust combos out there, but the overall tone is absofuckinglutely tits.

What HID Kit are you using for your fogs?

I have seriously been contemplating the setup of a MRT H Pipe with a catback system incorporating Flowmaster Super 44's..anyone have this setup...I dunno as sick as the setup sounds in this video...I gotta say ...People might just have to look me up under "Nasty" if everything was well paired togeather

The 44s don't seem to have the same rumble that the original 40s do. They didn't even sound like Flows to me....

You need a kit that includes the ballasts, bulbs, conectors and wiring. About an hour to install the headlights and foglights.
