@JamesCarrier123 i met chris at the shankly show and i was moved by the stories that he told of shankly. i got his autograph and i must say i was honoured to meet a hero of my mum's and he is a fantasic man
@JamesCarrier123 my mum said he hasnt changed from when he was a player, still a gentleman, and we love the story about when his bike was stolen from under the stand and what shankly told him to do. i'm a steward at liverpool myself and i like to share my love and knowledge of liverpool fc to the kids that i meet at the games. being brought up of LFC history from my mum and grandad i (according to a few ppl) have alot more knowledge of the history than most ppl my age
Mysterio - if Peter Thompson is really your grandad, thank him from me. he was a wonderful player. I was never really a football fan, until a school friend dragged me along to Anfield. I expected to be bored to tears, and watched, entranced, while the Liverpool left winger was absolutely amazing. the ball seemed glued to his feet, and his was amazingly skilful. i was a commited Liverpool fan after that, and your grandad is still my all-time favourite player, perhaps even more than Dalglish
rolled up news papers to piss in fights crash barrier maddness pick pockets 9 pennys to get in the pen ,and emlyn hughs and shankley.......tears are flowing.........ywal
