In of the song Futari No Birthday Mion says in the end "If then, I had been given the doll properly, perhaps nothing would have gone wrong" cuz she complained to Shion but who wouldnt when you really love someone right?
I like all the characters, but Rena is the best. She's funny, sweet, and caring, but when she gets her murder face on,(That's what I call it when here eyes get pale and the pupil's turn to slits.) she's creepy as hell and badass at the same time.

Shion should've been in the series more and she really only killed people in one story arc and could barely even go into Hinamizawa. Rena is R07'S favorite character, but he's stated in an interview that he intended a Keiichi/Mion feel to the series, which is very obviously present. She adds sweetness to a bitterly murderous series. Read the visual novels, why don't you? So many of her greatest scenes were rudely cut out of the anime.

omg this song is so beautiful when I heard it for the first time I was in a weird state I don't know what it was but I got paralysed it was so good I couldn't move this may sound weird but that really happenend I heard that this anime is horror so I am not going to watch it I watchet elfen lied and the only way I kept watching was because of the story ;) if it wasn't horror I would've watched this anime certainly :D
@0900090990 It's not really a horror anime, it goes beyond that. How else do these wonderful songs come into existence? It's a beautiful story with a ton of morals, that honestly, people should listen to, and most people forget. It's infinitely better than Elfen Lied.

You know, Mion is the only main character in this whole anime who hasn't killed anyone or attempted to. Satoshi killed his aunt. Keiichi killed Rena and Mion and himself. Satoko attempted to kill Keiichi. Rika killed herself and, in Rei, apparently killed her mom. Rena killed Teppei and Ritsuko and attempted to blow up the school and Shion killed Satoko, Mion, technically Rika, and herself. Hanyuu is a god. She doesn't count.
a few possibiletys: if mion was branded with the demon perhaps the demon granted her imunity for the syndrome
this however only aplys if she has the demon if shion was branded and had the demon perhaps mion went crazy in a world we dont see or she never build up the stress
@WhispersAndShadows it is, mions and shions voices are different by alot but also similar, some people mix them up but i find it easy to figure them out. Shion has a softer voice when Mion is more louder but it still is a beautiful voice. Mion is my favourite character in this anime :3
I'm really impressed that in every version of this, the singers really sound like they have feeling to them - the lyrics are really heartbreaking to begin with, but when all the seiyuu sound like they're going to start crying any second it really packs a punch

Well, in the eye-opening chapter, you find that it was really Shion the whole time. She was upset for her sister, that's what triggered it, thouh it was mostly because of Satoshi. But, yes it's Shion, not Mion. I got confused at first as well. So, like FireflyJar said, we don't REALLY know if Mion ever went insane, as there are worlds that Rika has gone to that we don't see. To be fair, the only people who AREN'T ever shown as psycho crazy murderers are mion and rika. Rika is through merely because she is immune to *it*, mion is argueable as to why she never goes psycho, probably because shes more clear-headed and stronger willed than the rest of the people, as she never seems to question herself, or others unlike the rest of the higurashi crew.
No she didn't, did you even TRY watching all of the first season? That was keichis delusion from hinamizawa disease, HE IMAGINED THAT MION AND RENA WERE GOING TO KILL HIM, HE WAS THE ONE GOING INSANE.
But in regards to Mion not going crazy, we don't actually know if she never goes insane. They don't show it in the anime, but there are countless other worlds Rika's lived in - one of them might've had a psycho Mion.

That was Keiichi's imagination; that first arc has him contracting Hinamizawa syndrome and basically developing paranoid schizophrenia. The syringe was actually a marker like in the penalty game from an earlier episode.

omg this song is so beautiful when I heard it for the first time I was in a weird state I don't know what it was but I got paralysed it was so good I couldn't move this may sound weird but that really happenend I heard that this anime is horror so I am not going to watch it I watchet elfen lied and the only way I kept watching was because of the story ;) if it wasn't horror I would've watched this anime certainly :D

@0900090990 It's not really a horror anime, it goes beyond that. How else do these wonderful songs come into existence? It's a beautiful story with a ton of morals, that honestly, people should listen to, and most people forget. It's infinitely better than Elfen Lied.
Besides, there's loli's with cleavers, what's not to like? (Incase my speech didnt do it for ya xDD)

You know, Mion is the only main character in this whole anime who hasn't killed anyone or attempted to. Satoshi killed his aunt. Keiichi killed Rena and Mion and himself. Satoko attempted to kill Keiichi. Rika killed herself and, in Rei, apparently killed her mom. Rena killed Teppei and Ritsuko and attempted to blow up the school and Shion killed Satoko, Mion, technically Rika, and herself. Hanyuu is a god. She doesn't count.

this however only aplys if she has the demon if shion was branded and had the demon perhaps mion went crazy in a world we dont see or she never build up the stress

Mion and Rena wern't really crazy in arc 1. Keiichi was suffering from the Hinamizawa Syndrome and was hallucinating that they were.

@WhispersAndShadows it is, mions and shions voices are different by alot but also similar, some people mix them up but i find it easy to figure them out. Shion has a softer voice when Mion is more louder but it still is a beautiful voice. Mion is my favourite character in this anime :3

I'm really impressed that in every version of this, the singers really sound like they have feeling to them - the lyrics are really heartbreaking to begin with, but when all the seiyuu sound like they're going to start crying any second it really packs a punch

Well, in the eye-opening chapter, you find that it was really Shion the whole time. She was upset for her sister, that's what triggered it, thouh it was mostly because of Satoshi. But, yes it's Shion, not Mion. I got confused at first as well. So, like FireflyJar said, we don't REALLY know if Mion ever went insane, as there are worlds that Rika has gone to that we don't see. Hope this helps. ^^

To be fair, the only people who AREN'T ever shown as psycho crazy murderers are mion and rika. Rika is through merely because she is immune to *it*, mion is argueable as to why she never goes psycho, probably because shes more clear-headed and stronger willed than the rest of the people, as she never seems to question herself, or others unlike the rest of the higurashi crew.

But in regards to Mion not going crazy, we don't actually know if she never goes insane. They don't show it in the anime, but there are countless other worlds Rika's lived in - one of them might've had a psycho Mion.

That was Keiichi's imagination; that first arc has him contracting Hinamizawa syndrome and basically developing paranoid schizophrenia. The syringe was actually a marker like in the penalty game from an earlier episode.
