According to me Eminems best song are mostly his diss tracks, because they are written with hate/from his heart. But Recovery brings us some really nice songs too.

@legokingen - I believe the genre - has gone far beyond that. I think artists like the Wu-Tang Clan, Nas and The Roots are capable of making "rap" more abstract and bring it into more deeper and dimensional territory. I've been waiting for the day that Eminem makes a concept album (one that follows a story/narrative). The subject matter of being "from the hood" or "the ghetto" is something of the past - we have to move forward.
