I think its more the nap effect than anything else. A slow shot against the nap tends to make the ball drift away from the pocket. With the nap, a slow ball will drift towards the pocket.

@jbdoggy the nap shouldnt effect the ball this much. this is what happens on standard club tables.

guessing left corner as we look at it is too high. anyone got a spirit level? But then it is Gary Wilkinson playing the shot lol

You can see the black pulling to the right as it nears the pocket!! It looks in then just goes off lol!!
