  • OE WOTANOSTALGIA `97 486DX2 FDD ONLY!!!!!!

  • reminds me of Rad Mobile XD

  • I played this! HAHA!

  • Rally Championship series is a bit stupid for naming this 1993 game 'Network Q RAC', AND their 1996 sequel, AND their 1999 sequel!! Why didn't they call the second and third game different? It's so confusing!

  • @AimalCool

    I agree

  • When played on a 486 DX2x66 this game was awsome... many happy evenings spent playing! Anyone remember how you could cheat by power sliding?!

  • Epileptic :D

  • I just got this game, but it came without the manual so I have no way to enter any of the "piracy check" questions at the start! Argh! Does anybody know where I can download a copy of the manual or get a list of the security question answers?

  • I got this game along with a box full of other Europress softwares in 1996 shortly after getting a new Dell Dimension XPS P166s: you can feel the megahertz!

When I first played the game I didn't know the default steering controls were "," and ".", I thought they were the arrow keys, so my car kept hitting the sidelines and turning with the road, I thought that was how steering worked.

The game hasn't aged well unfortunately.

  • classic :)

  • u know ur time but not speed

  • lol the car's sound is the exact same as the one for destruction derby 2 for ps1

  • amava esse jogo na infância ^^

    eram ótimos tempos SAUDADES T.T

  • lol WTF not for me. I like older games but not quite like this. This thing is prehistoric. would be a nice one for your collection though i suppose.

  • A new version was released in 1999, I have that one!

  • it's amazing how much the graohics have moved on

  • This game really sucks when you consider that Papyrus' NASCAR Racing also came out in 1993. Not even close. Now, they did recover nicely with Rally Championship in 1996 and Mobil 1 Rally Championship in 2000. The 1996 version is pure arcade, but controls well and is fun. This 1993 version doesn't control worth a damn.

  • @checkm8r comin from a nascar fan!

  • this game sucks ass!

  • Dude, how can a game sucks ass? It's a non-living thing with no mouth to suck on. YOU SUCK!

  • @superallye Haha, good one mate!

  • @AimalCool

    Cool!

  • Nice sprite ocean there!!! Old games 1000 of times were better than shit like todays CMR DIRT. but still .. in 1993 the technical aptitudes was not enough to simulate the style of rallying. And if this missing from a rally game i think it looses the point of play it.

  • It's true! I don't like thse new games, because the new games have got nice grphics, but the game suck..

  • Network Q RAC Rally was my very first rally game I ever played in my life! Sometimes, I miss those good old days too...!

  • that game looks boooooring

  • Don't say that dude, this game came from your country

  • im disgraced then

  • RBR take this ;) :)

  • C'mon dude no match. RBR will eat this game's dust (no pun intended)

  • Yeaahh RBR is from 2004 and this 93...11 years :P

  • -__-

  • I've had all of these. Since Lombard rally to this one, to the 1997 and at last Mobil1 Rally Championship 2000..

I think I've played this version the most of all on my 486 50MHz at that moment :)

  • ah yes, the good ol days :)

  • wow, that is NICE for 93. Wish they would've ported it to the Sega CD, they totally could have pulled it off with the built in scaling and rotation features.

  • Not really. By 1993, NASCAR Racing was out. Different racing genres, yet, but the technology for this doesn't compare at all to what was possible in 1993.

  • by console standards this game would've been considered excellent. Compare this to Jaguar XJ220 for the Sega CD and you'll see they are very similar, which means this game could've also been ported to the Sega CD.

  • sure it was 1993 i remember that i get my first sound blaster 16 that time!!!

  • This game is made in 1997, not 1993!!

  • You got this confused with Europress Rally Championship which was made in 96, not 97. Look in the credits at 0:36, it even says 1993!

  • For 1993, they have made this very immersive I think.

Mobil 1 Rally Championship was very special, you actually felt like you were driving down real rally stages. The photographic mapping of the game really made it feel gritty and realistic. I remember some stages taking 30mins + to complete. No other rally game did that I dont think

  • I agree with you. On its highest resolution and color bit, the game's environment looks frighteningly and photorealistically real! It has narrow roads too like in actual stages. Indeed it's still the best rally sim to day and it's hard to think it was made in 2000.

  • best until Richard Burns Rally came. :) I remember even in 2000, Rally Championship's driving model was critisized.

  • can i play it with Geforce N9600gt ? ^^

  • Nope sorry, it requires at least a GeForce N99999999GT to play it.

  • My third rally game i think :) loooong hours of gaming. Thx for uploading :] Now i have a problem with sound/i don't have sounds :( - maybe you can help me. But i'm happy becouse it runs under XP without the special programs :]

  • You have to configure sound on this outside the game program, there's a file called setblaster.exe or something. I'm running Windows 98 so that's why it runs ok on me. Use DOSbox, it might work.

  • Ok i'll try - thx

  • At 0:38, whick button I play? I have this and on DOSBOX don`t run.

  • If you got this from the web it should have been cracked already. Just type anything then enter.

  • My first Rally game..

    hours and hours of gaming..

    was a great game

  • Don`t run on XP???

  • It will likely run but it'll be too fast, you'll need to slow it down. DOSbox FTW!

  • OMG what a flashback :D

  • wow..wipers are work..me shocked =O

  • the thunder sfx sounds like it came from a monster from duke nukem lol

  • lol!! yea it does!

  • I love this game. Used to play it all the time, until I got XP. It goes all funny on it.

  • just to clarify, by "buttons" i mean the accelerator and the left OR right button, not both!

  • I have this on my XP laptop and as you'd expect it doesn't work.. Well, not properly anyway.

Used to play this back in the day, was awesome. And I discovered how to cheat your way to the finish, by accident.. Just turn left/right into the bushes while accelerating, and keep the accelerator and steering buttons held down, the car goes into the bushes and goes a bit mental, but you finish before you know it! Easy ;)

  • Sutton park is like that everyday pissing down LOL.

  • Omg Rater Play Gboy LOL Jk xD

  • That's cold...Regina LOL

  • Sorrys! But you know ppl Wont play that now cuz..Look at that ! ^_^ <3

I like The Voice "3 2 1 Go!" hahah So funny

  • Rally Trophy is compatible with Win 98 and cool to drive aswell.

  • Graphics pretty cool for a 1993 game.

  • the steering of the cars sucked hardcore ... good upload anyway

  • kool game

    whats next on ur list?

  • Thanks man. Still thinking, I wanna make modern games with FRAPS but I only have Win 98 hence the old games on DOSbox.
