I saw Sammy Davis Jr. once in the bay area (around 1977). This guy could do it all. He played multiple instruments, an impressionist, dancer, actor, singer etc., etc., etc., The consummate entertainer. I like MJ but the award should go to this man!

Sammy first recorded this song in 1955 and performed a version on I Dream of Jeannie. He performed it in his nightclub act decade after decade and he just changed it to match the vibe of that particular decade....and nailing each version.

Sammy did so many albums I don't think you could find them all, many were new arrangement of his classics including live albums so it is easy to find a dozen versions of songs like this. I do like this vibe however, very much his "Keep Your Eye on the Sparrow" era.
