Where does everyone come up with all that money to do this??? I would really like to know, as I hear that insurance does NOT pay for it, and it has me wondering how the 500 lb man with a pannus that hangs down to his knees is going to come up with 10k to pay for it?? I hope someone can tell me where individuals get the $ to pay for this.

She has to do what makes her happy, not listen to what everyone else thinks. I had it done and it was the best move I have ever made in my life...since then my weight has gone up and down by about 30 pounds but only a small amount has returned to my tummy and my ab muscles are still very strong. To me the strengthening of these muscles was the best part of the proceedure as I had the chance to begin again in this area. Even if I gain weight I am still strong and persistant with these muscles.

What it should not be used for is weight control. It will not stop nasty eating habits that were not a problem until I started to slow down on the excercise. So I have to eat less and old habits die hard for me! I however, have a choice to accept myself for the person I am...everyone else seems to do so, maybe I should too!

Even if you're fat. If you are mentally determined to control your eating habits and you get this procedure done, I"m sure there are a lot of health benefits to removing all that weight!

I'm starting my new food plan tomorrow. I could have been looking in the mirror for the pre-op part of the video. I know I'll need to get this done once I deflate, but damn...plastic surgery scares the shit out of me.

i too will get it if i need it after my 30s.29 y.o. approachin 30s.yep. the weight loss the loose skin as my cuz anna gettin in six days is easy to remove her dr. did this on tv in nj philly tri state.so we knjow this,he is safe secure,as to take away the bulge her fat after she has given birth four kids,all boys now 39 still look 20s but the stomach soon to be hourglass FLAT sexy tall at 5'10 out of heels,she has a great face model height so the flat stomach will just be icing on the cake.

i personally have lost 40lbs and have excess belly fat and would love to lose this left over fat...so i think it would be a good idea to lose it first and then do the tummy tuck :)

I didnt say she was fat i was saying in general thats whats best to do before tummy tuck. as myself I'm 5'10 190 and can't get rid of this belly because exercise isn't cutting it. and as well I'm a mother of three GORGEOUS girls! I lost 40lbs in about nine months myself. So i was just speaking on my personal view of tummy tuck. How did her surgery go??

I got a tummy tuck and developed a hematoma that I asked the doctor to drain. He drained about 1/4 of it 9 months later and refuses to drain the rest. My belly sticks out as if I am 5 months pregnant and he is giving me my walking papers. Don't do your surgery at the Prostigious Center in Destin Florida. After they mess up, they don't know you.

Here's my issue with this. I myself am a pretty big girl, and I'm currently doing something about that (I've lost 10 pounds in the past 2 weeks, yay!) but....if someone WAS going to waste money on a tummy tuck, wouldn't it be better to do so AFTER losing a whole bunch of weight when there's all that unwanted loose skin leftover?

they probably removed all the fat from her stomach, but when you get that fat, you end up with a lot of fat under your stomach muscles around your organs. they dont remove fat from there. so you would still end up with a beer belly untill you burned off that deep fat. it is easier to loose it when you have had the fat from around your stomach removed, but you still end up with loose skin. if you decide to remove it first, you have to loose twice as much weight. she probably was just too lazy

@ayayayify When I posted that I had just started a diet. Usually when I first start a diet, I lose a lot of weight in the first couple weeks and then I slow down to the usual 2 pounds a week. I basically just counted my calories and tried not to eat more than 1200-1300 a day.

@doyce1000 Oh believe me, I know. After those two weeks it slowed down, I started losing like 2lbs a week, and then it went down to 1lb a week. Eventually I hit a plateau and got stuck there for a while. For me it's usually just the first week or so that I lose so much weight.
