If he asks to search your bag, you can say no, and saying no isn't an admission of any guilt. Having a cop say "Can you come with me please?" Doesn't mean she had to, she had every right to say no and walk off, and he grabbed her and detained her without cause.

If he asks to search your bag, you can say no, and saying no isn't an admission of any guilt. Having a cop say "Can you come with me please?" Doesn't mean she had to, she had every right to say no and walk off, and he grabbed her and detained her without cause.

It's under the Fourth Amendment that searches and arrests must be WARRANTED. It doesn't matter if she was walking away from them. They had NO REASON to approach her. Therefore it is NOT fleeing.
