For a creature whom was initially supposed to be nothing but a cold-blooded hunter, you've gotta admit that seeing it sparing/saving a human's life AND teaming up with that same human is all at once something totally new and refreshing to see!^^

When I saw AVP in the theaters I didn't see this connection so much! When you reframe the movie with this music it's definitely interesting. It creates a powerful, love story like Beauty and the Beast! Even though Predators had a moment where the original predator species depended on an Earthling to release it. AVP had a moment where the predator had to depend on a strict friendship with an Earthling in order for both species to survive.

I love Predator so much, I love the fact that they can feel affection and feelings unlike Aliens where they just mate with a lady that would kill them in the blink of an eye. Hey there, this is a nice video. I'm about to prove myself as a geek. Umm, Scar was based on Dachande from the AVP:Prey book. When he marked her it was a blooding mark, so that she would be considered a warrior and his equal, not a marriage proposal, unfortunately. Read the book though, if you like Scar, you'll really love Dachande and Machiko(Lex's literary alter-ego) Still a great video though.:-)

There were 2 reasons why I laughed at this video (in a good way).

1.) The idea of a predator (or "Scar") and a human liking each other... I think kissing would be a tad difficult.

To answer your question: there ARE a few fabfiction who deal with that topic! Sometimes Scar and Lex are joined by the predators from the spaceship to fight the alien queen, sometimes Celtic is still alife but most of the time Scar simply survived the alien queen together with Lex.

I love this movie..It had action,drama,and yes even love as shown above..I was really bummed when Scar died..And that Alexa didn't go with them because in the book she did and went on to fight alongside the preds.I think that's what they should have made the second movie into..Her finally joining them.And it would have been interesting to see what happened if Scar had lived..Alexa so would have gone with him.

Scar is the nickname the filmcrew gave him. In the book though Lex and Sebastian really named him that after the mark. I think it's fairly basic. After all, the predators were all hunters so naming him "hunter" wouldn't really work. They named him after a feature what made him different, so I think that's ok.
