how are you recording the MIDI data from BOOM , as is shown on the BOOM track? I was told BOOM will not record MIDI data to INstrument tracks?!

@dacoma05 It's true you can't record the midi data from a Boom pattern, but you can hit Boom with midi coming from a midi track--just like with any other VI. This is probably what he's doing.
