I actually had a game that thought it was so important and it booted on startup.

ok im not sure what i did wrong but my xp wont save my files now like microsoft word or any setting. this occured when i started xp up..... also its just my account the other two accounts on the computer are fine(p.s it also took my back ground away and moved all the things on the start up menu to the desktop and i cant get it back) help as soon as you can ASAP

I really need help with something, when I boot my computer it´s very slow, and by that I mean VERY slow, I have checked ur other videos, and done exactly but I´d this problem like 2 months now, and nothing seems to help, can u help me out man? pls

i suggest you uncheck everything. my computer is WAYY faster now. I usually had to wait a couple mins. before using it at startup now i can use it right away!

after i've done everything when i restart my pc there's a window that shows up and when i check the MS CONFIG the things that i unchecked duplicated and still runs....how can i remove them??

@kevinchristopher3000 may be 2 lated to tell u==look for services pack duplicated updates(deleted it) and Start<RUN <services.msc <OK manuals and stop the thing in MSconfig that u did before

Google search the names of the weird processes. Many of them are useless, and Google usually gets what they are.

iTunesHelper is not by any means a required process and is merely meant as a convenience to iPod+iTunes users. You can get rid of it with Sysinternals' AutoRuns or simply msconfig, and if that doesn't work delete the .exe itself.

Search a zune theme (Thats the theme he has) Its a windows theme so you dont need to patch anything, then just search leopard osx backgrounds and you should find his background

goodafternoon.i compressed my drive c and d accidentally. and now im having a hard time how to get it back to normal. i have only 256MB. and everytime i start up the computer it is asking about the Blue Screen about NFTS to let it run which i did and when i start up again it is still the same. i hope you can help me so soon because it is going to be a month like this and ive been looking for a job thru online which is bugging me, my pc. thanks.

I think its in most xp's. But yea, its safe, even if you disable it and restart, it wont run the first time, but next time it will. It has to do with security stuff.

Thanks for the tip. But every time I do that, I click apply and it says "An Access Denied error was returned while attempting to change a service. You may need to log on using an Administrator account to make the specified changes.", but I am on an administrator. I don't know why it does this. Also, if I ignore the error, every time I boot is gives me a notice saying that msconfig will start every time I boot so that I can change it back to everything on startup. How can I fix this?

what if there is a line in the msconfig that was blank. There is no name or anything in the second column. There is a location, but that is the same as everything else.

Sometime blank ones are suspicious and could be trojans or spayware planted in your system to run on startup. I would disable it.

This file is used by iTunes to monitor hard drive conditions and to keep track of the songs you have ordered by itunes and have imported into itunes. this prevents itunes from forgetting where the file is located when it has been moved. this program is a resource hog, your ipod will still work fine.
