  • Great Review thanks for the help!

  • This or smart cover?

  • @mortimerr2011 if you're looking for something minimalist, then choose the smart cover. if you are fine with something bulkier but have the option to use a bluetooth keyboard, then go for the zaggfolio.

  • If I were to record things on evernote while typing at the same time, would i be able to hear the keys? or is the keyboard quite?

  • @ashleybernabee it makes noise when you type.

  • @bjourdog Once you start typing, a blue cursor will appear. Then you can use the arrow keys on the zaggfolio to move it around or jus use the ipad's touchscreen

  • I have a dumb question...when using the ZAGGFolio with the iPAD, how do you make the cursur go from line to line or from word to word since the iPad really doesn't have blinking cursur like a laptop?

  • Hi! I'm all confused. Which one should I get? The zaggfolio or the zaggmate? pls pls help me decide!!!

  • Very good review.......I plan to purchased this folio based upon your review. Thanks!

  • @kweym Thanks. You will not regret buying it.

  • Can you use FaceTalk and switch the camera towards the other side with the Zagg case on?

  • Is it possible to fold the keyboard back under the ipad to use only the ipad while keeping it in the case? Not many cases do that, but for me its very important

  • Mabuhay!

  • Thanks a lot! Great review.

    Cheers from Costa Rica

  • thanks... good job !

  • When you type on the ZAGGfolio keyboard, does the normal iPad keyboard display on the screen as well, or do you get a full screen to view whilst typing? You should have shown that in your review.

  • @guidlines i was focusing more on the folio case. if you want to see how the keyboard works, check my zaggmate & logitech keyboard review as they all work the same. But to answer your question, the iPad's on screen keyboard disappears once connected to the keyboard giving you a full screen.

  • @iPinoyPhone Thanks for the reply. I saw another one on the web once where the iPad keyboard stayed on screen when using the external one & I don't want to buy this, if the same thing happens.

  • @guidlines the touch keyboard doesnt show unless u press the 4th button from the top

  • @guidlines that never happens on this one. although there is a button on the keyboard to show the onscreen keyboard if you want to

  • which would you recommend that i get, the ZAGGFolio, or the Logitech Keyboard Case?

  • @TheJjj656 If you want more protection, go for the zaggfolio but if you dont care about the back of your ipad then go for the logitech/zaggmate

  • I think there should be an indicator light that flashes every so often to remind you that the keyboard is switched on.

  • @locouk there's no need for that. you can just check if the switch is off. I always switched mine off after use

  • @iPinoyPhone Does this work with iphone/ ipod touch?

  • @iPinoyPhone thanks

  • @korayem, yes i have the old zaggfolio case here i might sell it i dont know what to do with it

  • are the keys rubber

  • @54676964646 yes

  • @iPinoyPhone Which IOS are you on?

  • I ordered this one month ago, it didnt close well so i was disapointed, but today i received another one without notice, i called and asked them why, and they sent me another one because they realized the problem and they sent me another one already corrected with the latch newly designed out of their own pocket, badasssss customer service by ZAGG im very impressed

  • @PillsKillsKIlls is this for real?

  • 1:15 a macbook!

  • Very nice indeed, you gotta love technology

  • Your... Philiphino ( sorry for spelling)

  • You have outstanding English and I really like the review. It was very useful.

  • Adonit writer is much better but there aren't many videos of it yet

  • Is there a way of using my ipad without using the keyboard and by that i mean can i like fold the ipad over the keyboard so i dont see it when using my ipad

  • @crazym26 you can do it but it's really bulky & awkward

  • @iPinoyPhone Yea i thought it would be like that so im not getting it thanks

  • Lol. 1:31 i like how he says its easily removable and doesn't get it the first try. LOL

  • Damn it! i bought the other zaggmate case a few months ago. I was hoping they made this, and they did. argh!

  • I saw your other review of the logitech keyboard case for the ipad 2 and I was just wondering which one you recomend? The Zagg or the logitech? I'm thinking of getting the Zagg since it looks like it has a leather skin and seems nearly identical to the Logitech and since the keyboard is usa made and they are the same price.

  • @asianninja343 the zaggmate & the logitech keyboard are the same. the only difference is that the zaggmate is for the ipad1 while the logitech one is for the iPad 2. so it really depends on which iPad you have.

  • @asianninja343 ZAGGfolio by ZAGG is now for ipad 2

  • I hope that's soon... Btw, so do you like the zaggfolio over the zaggmate? They both seem compelling.

  • @ooharloo i like the zaggfolio because it's a complete case, unlike the zaggmate where the back of the iPad is exposed

  • very good review =) i think i will be getting this real soon.. or should i wait a little bit for a revised version so it will close easier?

  • @ooharloo Just wait for the updated version.

  • Zagg said they are shipping new folios to current owners with the clamp problem so they adressed the issue.

  • is this compatible with the ipad 1?

  • @jaydeesea95 No

  • Did you try pairing the keyboard with a macbook air or pro?

  • @espmolina it doesn't work

  • I have one question and I kindly ask for help with a response... I have the incipio smart feather case which is very thin, do you think that with the case on I would still be able to use this folio keyboard case? I am really interested in buying one. Thanks in advance

  • @Terd2402 Why do you need to use another cover if there is already one?

  • @iPinoyPhone The whole point of the folio is for the added protection opposed to just the keyboard itself or the zaggmate. I want to protect my $700 investment. The case I have will only protect from light drops and back scratches and I wouldn't doubt if a corner bent in a drop to a hard surface. I just want to know if its a tight fit on the folio or if an extra 1mm would be okay to fit the ipad 2 in the folio.

  • @Terd2402 it is a tight fit. i don't think any case can be used on the ipad when using this folio, aside from skins. don't worry coz the folio case itself will protect the ipad

  • @iPinoyPhone My only concern was taking my incipio case on and off ever time i want to use the zagg folio since I won't always need to carry around a keyboard. Thank you!

  • Great review and do you think it is worth it because it is quite pricey

  • @chanyoung1 it is pricy indeed but again it really depends with the user. i do a lot of typing on my iPad so i find this really useful. If ever you gonna get one, just wait until they revise the design because they are working on it now.

  • Great video and thanks for pointing out the drawbacks too

  • @spacerec you are welcome

  • zagg sent me an email and said that they are sending out new ones with a better clasp design free of charge, pretty sweet if you ask me

  • @macbookpro57 yes. they will only send the case w/o a keyboard.

  • I'm told Zagg will be replacing all the Folio cases because of the clasp issue.

  • @larrygreenberg that is good news. I sent them an email regarding this matter but never got a reply from them, I guess it was a common problem then. Thanks

  • I read on zagg website that it has a built in rechargeable battery

on another website, one of the items that is included is the battery

so is the battery removable (or easy to replaced) or not?

    thanks

  • @npmthy it is built in so you cannot replace it.

  • How serious is the closing problem with the zaggfolio? (3:12)

& does it add a considerable amount of bulk to the ipad? Thank you :)

  • @uhohellina It's really bad. If i'd known it is this bad,i will not get it. It's as thick as the otterbox defender case so it's not really a problem.

  • Nice Review :)

  • @tempest989 thanks

  • It is comfortable to type? Does it feel cramped?

  • @echuynh Yes. It's very to type on. The keys are not as cramped as the ones on the zaggmate

  • @echuynh Comfortable to type on

  • Superb video review Peter! Keep up the great work :)

  • @CalenderJuiceSheena thanks for commenting

  • Thanks for the review. Great job!

  • @littlepippuccino thanks for stopping by & leaving a comment

  • Great review bro, very well done. :-)

  • @iMactheIphone thanks

  • If you had to choose, which would you prefer: the Zaggmate, or the Zaggfolio? I'm having trouble deciding. I feel that the Zaggmate is more sleek and "attractive," while the Zaggfolio just looks very rugged and bulky. What are your thoughts? If you could do a video comparing the two accessories, side by side, that would be awesome!

  • Also, nice review!

  • @uhohellina if you're fine with the exposed back of the iPad on the zaggmate or at least use a skin on it, then i will recommend the zaggmate. but if you want back protection & not like to use skin on your iPad, then go with the zaggfolio

  • Great job as always!

  • Nice Review!

  • Great review. One of your best videos.

  • @larrygreenberg thanks Larry
