@ronoc9 It's called an Echo effect and it quite a vintage video effect, but it's been put to amazing use. It does require a greenscreen to do it though as the program needs to see the edge of things in order to see the previous frame. After processing the footage and keying out the green (excessive blur of the football gives away the fact that it's a green screen :D) the computer simply keeps the previous frame and places the newer frame on top and it just keeps doing that for the whole video.
