I installed cm7 and rom manager but did not activate cyanogen 7. I formatted cache, dalvik, etc. and when I rebooted my phone I only got the hawei screen. after finding out how to get back into the clockwork menu, I attempted to recover files back onto the phone with no luck. the scripts ran down saying files were being installed. but after rebooting I got the same screen. I can still get into the menu. is there any way to recover and continue or is my phone a "brick". How do i root 2 sdcard?

I have my Ascend on 2.1 and I just now discovered that I can update it to Gingerbread and Ive never been much of a hacker so what do I specifically need to do? Just put Gingerbread and Google Apps onto a sd card and install it to the phone or is there some other steps that need to be done?

i upgrated to the cm7 2.3 stable rom from stock rom and noticed that videos such as youtube videos don't buffer completely, they buffer for a little bit and plays but then stops and never buffers the rest of video. know of a way to fix??? plz help
