  • Are you making your own torque converter @ 0:46 ?

  • meine herren , man könnte glatt meinen das man das tüvtauglich baut....

  • Die Internationale wunderbare musik, quite a feat of engineering indeed :D

  • All those precision gears, precision tools, and precision machines, and when assembling, you use baler twine. That is both ingenious and redneck! I used to be a machinist, so I appreciate your ingenuity and skill! This is the most ingenious and original custom job I've ever seen. I'd rather see something like this than a late model Dodge Ram Dually with lowered suspension crushing a beer can. They spent $80K doing it. I bet you don't have that much in this and it's way cooler!

  • shows again what german engineering stands for.

  • new idol. i wish this guy was my father

  • i just jizzed my pants...

  • Thats was a piece of art, that tranny !!

  • building a transmission like nobody's business..

  • this is just fucking EPIC!

  • Great Job Sir I wish I could learn from You Sir

  • I wish I could learn from you sir

  • I'm at a loss of words, this guy just BUILT his own transmission!

  • BRAVO!!!

  • Im a transmission builder, but this guy is a transmission MAKER!

  • Impressive! Kinda makes me so much more 1/2 proud to be 1/2 German!! :D

  • If there is any doubt of the theory of evolution this dispels it. No lesser Homo sapiens can do this with machine tools except the Germans & northern Europeans

  • @mixedbreed10 What a retarded comment. You, sir, are an imbecile.

  • OK, Germany isn't the most friendly country in the whole planet, or the best, but damn it is ust orgasmic for people who are into engineering. Thumbs up, for creating this from scratch by yourself.

  • Great job.... +++++

  • mechanical porn at its best

  • the coolest part about this is I think he adapted parts made for another purpose, his bell housing looks like a big Turbo compressor casing. And those Gears would be hard to mill on an old manual mill like the one he is using. But Crap what a genius.

  • its so amazing yet sketchy as fuck lol

  • OMFG Voith Turbo baut getriebe für die ICEs :O boah was für ne arbeit!!! respekt!!

  • mega kudos to you sir. you are a genius. a radial engined gogomobile. who would of thought it was possible? obviously these nutters from germany. (i meant nutters in a good way) if i could give you 10 thumbs up i would!

  • Words can not express the amount of awesomenes in this video..

  • hey "die Internationale" this time another great song

  • one word, awesome!!

  • German fucking engineering at work

  • Wow! Amazing work! Greetings from Argentina!

  • you sir are an Alpha Gearhead!

  • That whole drivetrain is a thing of beauty... nothing less then a work of art!

  • Icdh hab einfahc nur Respekt vor der Arbeit.

    Weiter so!

    Gruss ausm pott :)

  • Way to go - good design work for such a small area to work with ( small trunk of the car ). Long live the Entrepreneur

  • thats one clever bloke

  • he built a transmission from scratch... fantastic work

  • clever clever guy this man knows his stuff!!!!!!!!

  • awesome, great engineering

  • Fantastic!! What an effort .. Good video clips too. Nice and sharp! Love this whole project!

  • I am so impressed with your engineering work my friend. @ justvorever96, the actual gears should be available from a specialist maker as blanks, maybe with the center bore already to size. Then your hero there was milling the slots and setting the positions for the locating dogs.

A truly great project and no mistake!

    5/5 and fave

  • Aaarrgghh!! Yes please, I can't wait to see that engine turn those wheels! Transmit that power! Transmit I say! This thing's gonna be on it's roof before you know it! X-D

  • perfect engineering, pure genious!!

  • No shit? You really fabricated all that from scratch? Damn! That's good. Who the hell is paying for all that steel and aluminum? The company shed in the first video looked like a small buisness. This is some good work, to design and fabricate a transmission like that. Even if it is just "Go Foward Gear" and Go Backward Gear" LOL. Still, beautiful pieces, well fit.

  • Looks like the Ultimate hobby project!

If i had the parts at my disposal, I would spend the money out of my own pocket no problem!!!

  • Tooooo much money!

  • This is why everything should be made in germany!

  • 1:41 all that and a piece of string! but well done, gd work

  • outstanding! now there's a guy who knows what he is doing!!

  • now thats more like it

  • congratulations!! you are an excelent projecter. is a beatiful machine.

  • You sir, Are completely MAD!

Well fucking done in every respect!

    ie Herr, Sind VÖLLIG VERRÜCKT!

Gut getan in jeder Hinsicht bumsend! :D

  • Lost in translation...

  • hm?

  • "... Good doing in every way fucking!"

  • Oh LOL! :D

Online translators aren't as good as they used to be -_-

  • I've never seen a whole sentence translated properly.

  • this guy is amazing at engineering.

  • Is it just me or this guy just built a frickin transmission... Hey you who think you are hot by puting a turbo on your car you would learn a lot from a guy like him.

  • hell yeah!, these people who say they have modified their cars!, when really they have taken them down the street to somebody like this!.

This is real Automotive Engineering!, not just bolt on crap!

  • @carlboutin That is beautiful. Makes you question your skills at fabrication when you see something like this.

  • @earsneyes43 totaly agree tumbs up.

  • @carlboutin But i wouldn't use string to hold it together....:-)

  • Never underestimate German engineering!!!

  • we would be stupid to do that

  • Echt Hammer der Goggo, Schraubertechnisches MeisterStüchchen der extra Klasse

  • WOW!!!

  • Maschinenbau vom Feinsten!

  • german engineering is superior

  • I must agree.

It is as good as you will get.

  • dude.. fuckin amazing.. but spur gears? ahah this thing is gunna be whiney.. which will probably sound amazing

  • exactly :P so i can't see a problem :P

  • Dude!

  • Dude! :P

  • Oh yeah.....Honey, I'm gonna go out to the garage for awhile and build a transmission for a radial engine, piece by piece, by hand. I should be back in by dinner.........Amazing.

  • Smart, using a huge torque converter and a single forward & reverse gear. Might be a pain to put in gear though, that torque converter might need an additional clutch.

  • I could be wrong but i think that was a fluid clutch not a torque converter mate.

  • i am at a loss for words... just.. wow..

  • Sehr schöne Arbeit.

    Grüße aus der Slowakei!

  • The car looks ugly as hell but the work is awesome. But I think this "understatement" is intended... I like it!!!

Das war die DDR Hymne, oder?

  • Uhhh fucking mazing. Let me just take in what I just watched. This guy is a math/mechanical genius.

  • Wow.. You made your own transmission...

  • no video of it driving? how disappointing.

  • Wow. Just wow.

  • big RESPECT.....big respect

  • Synchromesh?

  • cool...crazy.....hahaha

  • amen to that. That is some very good skills.

  • Your talent is ridiculous! Amazing stuff!
