I was born in 83 too. Didn't have my first console until I got the NES as we were a bit hard-up but I had friends/family with Amiga and Commodore. Still gaming to this day - although seeing the old 8-bit stuff still makes me feel old.
A lot of amiga games companies were up north. I visited DMS in widnes , they did driving force / colditz. and software projects / special fx were in albert dock. sadly the UK games industry went to crud.. c64 buggy boy / wizball easily beat the amiga versions though. :)
@thegreenseven ha ha oddly enough it aint that weird ... i have heard that before!! i dunno if i agree tho! weird comments are always good to receive! :)
@applefan216 yesss i am prehistoric!!! i have to agree with you on that one! i feel old when i am talking about computers and childhood... thanks for watching my vid :)
I was playing in the eighties C64 The Last Ninja 1 and 2, Green Beret, Out Run, H.E.R.O. and Wizard of Wor. Later i play on the Amiga 500 a lot of Alien Breed and The Chaos Engine. Barbarian on the Amiga is a very easy game. Than i saw the Japanese Neo Geo AES in Japan 1991 and i was in love with it. Now i like retro games far better than te next gen games. ^_^
wow you are a true gamer i will watch all your videos my lady keep them coming cool :) check out my buddy's jboypacman , narox they will love your channel :D
@equilibriumGaming - I totally agree on the gaming forever comment! It is pushed towards the more serious mature gamer now, I love how the industry has gone and how many people see it as a career now, its now rather fashionable to be a gamer as apposed to 20 yrs ago when it was mostly guys who were programming out of their bedrooms! gaming is like the new movie industry only better, you get more value for money and more from it! thanks for the comments! :)
thanks for your comments guys! i am still loving gaming, although i havent been playing much lately, just gotta get back into the routine again! i will be doing another vid soon with my gaming collection :)
I have to say, I have a real softspot for the Robocop-theme, couldn't help myself from humming along to it in the the vid!
I also love how they changed the music in Rainbow Islands to that Over the Rainbow-remix. I've always enjoyed that one more than the real soundtrack even!
Impressive that you imported the PSX, not many believed in that in the beginning. I think you might be the first I've heard of that imported it! :)
