I'm not sure if you are familiar with this event but at one time every present day African nation was under the unwanted control of a European nation. I used to say that and to certain extent you are right. Just because I was born in England London doesn't make me what people percieve as a typical english man (brown skinned).
furthermore when you define yourself as african you are defining yourself using your oppressors descriptions without knowing.
The word American comes from a european. The word African comes from a european.
Israelite, Hamite, Edomite etc.... I words labels of the most high. And are blood lines. not boarders.

Bones have been found other areas as well, YEARS and location, (geography and archeology) anthropology points towards a center area during the times of pangea. about 200,000 years ago what we consider humans was in the area of East Africa. It's pretty close to accurate.

Yes we are all african by origyn , but after humanity spread out, there were different cultures imfluence by weather and land conditions more than any thing else, so
now we are living in a world where whites are from European descend and blacks are from africa descend, and I can beleive that african natives are more racist by far towards african american than white people themself. the worst racist experiences I had ever have has been by other africans. The real truth is alot of black americans dont know a thing about Africa, in my eyes they are just darker americans which they should be. Now me i am an african, my parents are african, i was born in africa, i speak an african language, but we moved to usa so i can claim the african american langauge. That's how life on earth grows. Mutating DNA to allow for different physical traits, which in turn gives rise to new sub-species, and then new species, new genus, and so on.
twalk2008 uses dogs as an example, which is good. We can't call them all dogs with no differences, that wouldn't be accurate. The Canine has many sub-species. This is important for the obvious differences between say a Jack Russel and an Irish Wolf Hound.
Also, this isn't supposed to be negative, i'm just talkin science.

Saying that everyone is African is the exact same as saying everyone is human. It's far too general of a discription. Both correct, but HUMANS not only have methods of differntiating each other such as languages, cultures, cuisine...etc, but also the real physical differences that have evolved since the human species left Arica: Skin color, bone structure, even the digestive systems are different - Japanese, they lack an enzyme in the stomach which breaks down alcohol causing quick enebriation.

First I am not a dog so a huuman and a pitbull are incomparable.
Second we do not base a dogs breed off where they were born but we do for humans.
If we are going to say I am African based of DNA, then I am mixed because I have all nationalities in me if you go back far enough. I am American not African, to be African you have to be of that culture not of that ancestry.

btw... there is no scientific definition or acceptance of the idea of "race". It is purely a social construct. People skin tones and colors have adapted to different environments. That's all. There is no such thing... in the world of science and anthropology... as race.

Wrong. Science doesn't recognize the term Race in it's literal form. The classification that would be equivalent is a SUB-SPECIES, however the reason it isn't used on humans is obvious i think : it alone can have very damaging affects on how humans interact and percieve each other.
The use of the Dog comparison is legitimate. We both are animals, we both have "sub-species" a.k.a. "races" and these S.Sp. can interbreed without any problems.
At the core, we are very similar creatures.

That's a ridiculous comparison. Asian Americans are recent immigrants with a large percentage of them being first generation. They still have parents or actual relatives in their countries. Once their families have been here several hundred years they sure as hell won't be calling themselves Asian.

Seriously, Adams was born in Quincy Massachusetts. Last I checked that wasn't in Africa.
