I watched this video the other day laughing at all of this.

I went around a turn like this today at 15-20 mph and completely spun around and ended up in a ditch. I saved up for the past year trying to by my 1997 Jeep Cherokee and the front end was completely fucked. Thank god the road was clear because I went across two lanes of traffic after countersteering, definitely would have been a collision and I cannot afford my insurance going up any higher.

Oh, and I know it doesn't look like much in the video, but I slid sideways going 20 mph and right when my car gained control, I had already counter-steered too much so my car flung the opposite way. It really does jerk you around.

Just thinking about it I get a pit in my stomach. I barely even hit a mound of dirt and i flew forward until my airbag popped me in the face. If you ever do get in a car wreck like this, it does throw you around pretty good.

How about learning how to drive in slippery conditions rather than expecting gov't to coddle everyone all the time? A lower speed limit won't help much. The people spinning out were obviously not paying attention to their own vehicle's direction of travel, not to mention an arbitrary speed limit. If you can't drive, DON'T!!
